(4K, 2024) Aer Lingus Airbus A320-200 (EI-DEL) take off from Runway 16 at Cork, Ireland, operating flight EI836 to Munich T1, Germany in March 2024. Skip to the takeoff at timestamp 02:30. Aer Lingus operates one weekly service to Munich each Winter, from late December to the end of March, and it is the only Aer Lingus service to Germany from Cork year-round. It does mean I'll have to travel back to Cork via an alternative route unfortunately. I had this booked for 2020 and then Covid hit, so was delighted to be travelling to Munich at-last for the first time! The aircraft was parked in front of the old, dis-used terminal building, meaning no pushback was required. It's an early morning flight, and it was very foggy - you couldn't even see the terminal building from the Runway. However as we all know well, it's always sunny above the clouds!
