Considering that Garp hates celestial dragons so much, he couldn't care with what Luffy and Dragon did. As long as his son keep fighting against the world govt, Garp doesn't care.

Well, Garp knew that, even though Luffy branded as notorious pirate, Luffy still fight for the people, which the marines should be. Sadly, the marines are under world govt which is filled with corrupt nobles.

Judging by how Garp talks of Dragon. Theres a sense of pride and joy of what his son is trying to do. As if the only reason he'd be disappointed in Dragon comes from his position

I think he's disappointed that his son and grandson didn't become Marines because they'd be good Marines and because then no one would be coming after them so he'd know they'd have some safety, but he's he's proud that they're both tough, independent, determined, know what they want and aren't letting anyone stop them from going after it

Garp wanted ace and luffy to become marines. Because world govt is killing all D clan members. Gorosei and imu didn't killed garp because he fights for world govt. So if ace and luffy became marines then world govt won't try to kill them. That's what garp wanted. That's applying for his own son also. I don't know if I can tell this as a manga reader but garp don't like that his son became revolutionary. I think that will be animated after a few episodes.

I love how Luffy is like: what? I have a dad? Didn't expect that I was like bruh seriously how did you think you came into existence 😂

He must’ve been trying to fool everyone as well too.😅 He was so committed to it that he even got back with his old girlfriend and his old house from years back just so he can fish that extra money 🤣
