I have to admit. This has to be one of the most satisfying punches in anime. I remember thinking that he hit him so hard he knocked all the color off the screen.

It's so crucial to the forward momentum of the series that Luffy does crap like this. He doesn't play it safe. He doesn't wait around. Consequences are tomorrow's problem. Today, St. Charlos is asking for it.

This arc was great in showing how your emotions have consequences depending on your strength. After this punch, it was just a collapse.

Luffy was so angry he beat the colour out of him. I would have liked to see the bullets bounce off Luffy instead of him dodging though. But I can't remember if the bullets are sea prism. That might be why he dodged.

It's so insane that in a world where everyone uses all these crazy abilities to do fantastical things, Luffy just punching a dude in the face with no powers or anything is the coolest and most hype moment.

One Piece is literally a show about fighting and somehow this punch which wasn't even in a real fight was the most satisfying punch in the whole show.

I can watch this episode like over and over again and it will never get boring because it is so satisfying💜 by the way thanks for the compilation👍

I think the one element of this punch that most people forget, is how the Celestial Dragons wear bubbles as to not breath the same air as common-folk That bubble is both literal and figurative., they live under a delusion that they are free of consequence, superior to all others simply by merit of being Celestial Dragons. Luffy Burst that bubble, both figuratively and literally. "It doesn't matter who you are, or where you came from, what matters is what you do, and you don't hurt my friends"

One of the best things about this scene is that it gets more and more satisfying the further you progress in the story and properly understand the full extent of the atrocities committed by the Celestial Dragons and World Government. What they did to Boa and her sisters, how they treat the prisoners of Impel Down and the attempted murder of a 10yo Sabo for no reason. Their willful ignorance to Doflamingo's crimes against the people of Dressrosa and their partaking in the criminal underworld. Their profiteering from the suffering of the people of Wano under Kaido and Orochi's rule and what they did to Alber (*King) and his people. How they treated Kuma and his loved ones and all the depraved shit that went down on God Valley, with no doubt much more to be revealed. It's like watching Luffy unload hundreds of years of pain and suffering right into Charlos's ugly face.
