Thanks professor Mikko. Always a pleasure to watch you teaching in such a calm, relaxing and inspiring way. Congrats and I'll be waiting for you next post! Cheers
They say it’s better to light a candle then curse the dark and your tutorial has saved me from a lot of cursing, so thank you!
All this without saying one word. Well done.
Very nice. Thank you for sharing.
How can someone possibly give this superb tutorial a thumbs down 🙄

Making some people feel inadequate? Might be jealousy, but this is something that can be learned and is attainable. Your mastery, though? Well, I'm jealous of that...

My pleasure. Learning is the fun part in knotting!
Really a nice model.
Allways good to see your work mikko...Will try making this bracelet with the beautiful cordage I got last year from you. It will make a lovely Xmas Present. Thanks
Molto difficili ma molto belli...! Bravo come sempre Mikko...- 👌🚩⚓
Mikko, I've just finished one of these up and I want to thank you for the effort you've put in to these videos, they are truly a wonderful resource. I would love to come and study with you a bit, for now, at least a cup of ko-fi!

Glad you find the videos useful.
Wow!
เก่งมากๆ ครับ
Love it but that wandering strand in the middle sends my OCD into overdrive!😃
That's an astounding button! I'm guessing it's knot in the Encyclopedia of Knots, and a quick google isn't showing anything. You may be the only resource. Thanks!

Hardly, I saw this once as picture instructions, so certainly there is a book somewhere...
I'd really like to make one of these, they are extordenary! I've tried several times with this video, perhaps you could make another explianing the steps with the music in the background.

go to settings and slow this down to .5 and keep pausing the video and it does become clear.

What kind of cord do you use for tying your constrictor knots?
@mikkosnellman
3 жыл бұрын
That depends on the project, in this case I used 210D/9 tarred nylon.
Yes ok
Cord is produced by Atwood Rope and Cord. Not sure why that had to be blurred out.

Yeah. Right. Here’s a link to their “tactical” cord which is what this is. What’s the matter? They wouldn’t give you free cord for mentioning their name so you blurred it out? I mention them on IG on my products all the time and I don’t expect or get anything from them in return. atwoodrope.com/collections/275-tactical

@@jayj4142 No, that is not the reason but good that you could provide the link. The cord is exellent.

Ooh, I might try this. Roughly how long would you say the loop needs to be?
@mikkosnellman

That depends on your cord size.

@@mikkosnellman I suppose I could tie the button knot first then size the loop to fit

Try it. Make a button, then start trying loop sizes. A few attempts will tell you more than a reply to your comment.
