Paracord turtle- macrame style

In this video I demonstrate how to make a macrame turtle using paracord. You can choose to use any type of paracord depending on the size of the turtle that you would like to make. I used type 1 paracord for this project.
The turtle is built using 2 basic knots. I did my best to cover everything in as much detail as possible. I am confident that you are able to do it!

Hi Mark, Thanks for the tutorial. I made 3 turtles. 1 in Paracord type 2, 1 in cotton cord and one in nylon, builders cord. My nieces pin the last 2 of them on their T-shirts :-)

Would the length of the cordage be the same if I used Paracord 550?

It would be a bit longer. That will make a big turtle!
is it possible to mix the colors. give the tan one the green legs and vice versa. or making alternate colors on the shell.

Hey! Indeed it is. A tan/green combo would probably work really well. Just choose some of the 6 strands to be of a different color. Mark
How much longer do the cords have to be if using 550 cord?
