I agree - this is an awesome clip. Being one of many Lucille Ball fans, I watched this the night it was aired. CBS, Sunday evening, December 9, 1984. Lucy was the 1984 honoree of the Variety Clubs International, and hosted by Monty Hall. They dedicated the Lucille Ball wing of the Barbara Davis Juvenile Diabetes Hospital in Denver. Lucy was very moved. This gala event was taped about three weeks before and they ended the TV special by them all singing Happy Anniversary to Lucy and Gary (Morton).

i feel you this made me cry you know i was about to joan on Sammie with his Bojangles act but he was serious and very intelligent
