Italian is perfect for singing. Btw, to me this is the greatest vocal performance since Michael Kiske during 1987-1993.

For those who wonder, it means "the black swan" in Italian :)

This makes me want to learn italian.

+Rqoiz it wouldn't suffice anyways... you'd still need a classic/reneissance cultural knowledge to understand anything, the words used aren't really too common in italian either... it's more like an archaic poetic slang

Ater Boreal well nope. Even though there are some changes to the words for better sound of lyrics, those changes are easy to understand (nothinges like because->cause (or 'cos', i dont remember exactly, you got my point though) in English).

+Ater Boreal I speak portuguese, spanish, and english, and I can understand pretty much of the music. I don't know italian..

Luca Turilli is the most talanted and educated song writer in all heavy metal and rock scene. He deserves 10 times more fans. I love everything from old Rhapsody to his solo projects and now this. This album and the previous one remind me more of a Luca Turilli band album than old Rhapsody. Also i needed a month to get used to the new singer because he has that Kiske/Olaf Hayer high pitch voice. He is amazing vocalist... But i wish to see Fabio again in Rhapsody. If Luca was the music of Rhapsody, Fabio was the voice that completed the perfect soul of the band. His voice color and emotion is unmatched. Fabio and Conti released together a horrible solo album...Just imagine if Fabio joined Luca Turillis Rhapsody and made the second voice/duet with Conti. Under the composition maestry of Luca. That would be epic. 2 frontman better than 1.

Idk if I'd call him the most talented, Jari Mäenpää comes pretty close, and he's entirely self taught: kzread.info/dash/bejne/mXl2qNBxpM7KdqQ.html However, Luca's definitely one of the best metal composers and guitarists of all time, but there are others with similar skills out there as well.

@@akdiwi1jkssk717 There are plenty of insane guitarists with skills similar to Turilli, though most of them have a unique style. Jari Mäenpää (I recommend checking out everything by his band Wintersun), Alexi Laiho (famously considered the best guitarist in metal by many people), Teemu Mäntysaari (He's in Wintersun as well, though used to be the songwriter for the single masterpiece of an album released by the band Imperanon), then there's Charlie Parra (famous on youtube) and of course the old youtube wonder and the most french-looking person on the planet, Mathieu Rachmajda.

@@themaster1670 oh yeees of course wintersun is kick ass 😍 but i still think that micheal romeo is massive cuz he is just like luca he do play neoclassical and he is the composer for symphony x and btw if you haven't check them i recommend you to start with the new mythology album its a masterpiece 😍😍😍😍😍

I'm so glad rhapsody are singing fully in Italian (and I'm English who don't really understand much Italian at all) metal is universal and If a metalhead wont listen to something purely because its not in there native language (this is mainly going out to us English speaking ppl ) then you my friend. are not a metalhead!! I hope in the future more bands will sing in there native language (japan has been doing it for a while now catch up everyone! )

How dare someone not like what you like for the sole reason of not understanding what he's singing? you have to understand that people look for different things in music my guy. I love the everloving fuck of everything they've produced so far don't get me wrong, but gatekeeping like this is not the way...

Geeeez, came here after listening to the new phoenix rising song from Luca... Missed Conti's voice and this musical quality. It seems Luca gave up this fantastic setup for a very similar but much average one. Miss this Lt Rhapsody.. This vocal is really one in a million. Or billion. Honestly the one and olnly voice for me comparable to the all time absolute god, Michael Kiske...

I'm really late! I was wondering when this album would come out but I stopped checking for it a while back. So happy it's out, now I get to listen to this and hopefully RoFs new album all weekend.

Luca Turilli è oggi quello che Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart fu ai suoi tempi in termini di capacità compositiva. Solo che Mozart non disponeva della tecnologia e degli strumenti di cui è possibile disporre oggi e che mettono in grado Luca di sviluppare al massimo il suo incredibile talento.

This is THE music. I have to say it was the only option for Luca to leave the old Rhapsody and build this one. Good decision because Lt.Rhapsody make it better and better. The last 2 albums are simply perfect. We was last week in Budapest, met with Luca and the whole band. (also in vip backstage) It was really a great night and awesome performance. For me it's the best band in the whole world now.

Wish the could release an instrumental cd of this album. Is majestic and I want to sing it!

They made a reloaded version because people complained the album wasn't metal enough, I like this version but the original Cigno Nero is better imho

+daniloal82 In short he speaks about creative process and art, the whole piece album is in fact very reneissance like in style. Not a bad choice if you're italian tbh. ''Divino Fuoco'' for example and the title of the album ''Prometheus''; ''Occhio d'Ajna'' is the sixth chakram- also called ''Third Eye''- for the intuitive vision of the mind, typical to artists(+ Jung's Quote). Or at least that's how it would make most sense.

This album is a concept about a modern Prometheus , the Titan who fought the gods in order to bring the fire to the human race. this "fire" is interpretable as "knowledge" , Prometheus is the "Black swan" (Cigno Nero) of the song facing the destiny looking for knowledge. (writing the Lyrics of this song Luca took something from the alchemical language in order to gave some mystery feeling )
