@@AgricolaSuperbus Personally at least, it feels like they lost their edge They went too hard on sounding beautiful and grand while also forgetting what made their previous records so amazing was that slight aggressive edge paired with the otherwise mystic sounding pianos and great vocals. Stuff like the guitar blast at the beginning of Deathaura, the opening line of Fly with the Black Swan or even the "say you love me, whore" in this song I'm not against bands that just wanna sound pretty, but in the end Sonata wasn't able to pull that off without losing themselves along the way

Me too, and it would not be so hard for me to admit that they are boring and out of energy now if they had not been one of the best metal bands I have been listening to.

+Charlee Whelen Saw that same group in Tampa in March, they closed their set with this song and I was thinking at the end, "Damn it, guys, you're not supposed to get people to burn through all their energy right before the main act comes on!" It was amazing.

A trip through memory lane. Sonata Arctica was my first foray into unknown territory. I remember having Revontulet on repeat until i was nearly deaf. Still, this is one of my favourites. Tony's voice is fantastic and Henrik on the keytar never looked more epic. I'm surprised their old songs doesn't have more views.

If you weren't there seeing these power metal classic songs in 240p on your break from school, you haven't lived.

What a masterpiece this song is.. the talent it takes to compose this is insane!

Fun fact: Jani and Henrry were so drunk that they kept falling and falling. Soooo drunk that people of the staff had to dig holes were their feet were standing in order to continue with the production. You can tell that Jani is “out of level” in 4:09 .
