John Ferguson, wow, great memories. I will always remember sitting on drilling rigs in the Gulf of Mexico on Saturday nights with my transistor radio listening to "the voice of the Tigers"!

Brock, you,re probably aware that if we would have been invited to the Cotton Bowl in 1969, we could have won, ranked #1 and won the Natty. Charlie Mac decided to keep his team at home. Our only loss that year was a 3pt loss to Manning and Ole Miss

Asked the priests if they could root against Notre Dame? That is an idiotic thing to even have to wonder about.

That orange bowl was terribly officiated. LSU had no chance with those officials.
