This is a meaningless game against a bad team. Daniels doesn't even deserve to get invited to New York. If the Heisman goes to the winningest player and the leader of champions, then J.J. McCarthy or Carson Beck should win it. Unfortunately, it's popular contest with politics involved, so it will come down to Bo Nix or Michael Penix Jr, both of whom have the luxury of stat padding in a conference that has bad defenses.

You must be delusional if u think he is better. Michigan also has not even a top 100 toughest schedule. Last year Jayden Daniels had his breakout game against Florida. This year, his Heisman moment. Soak it in, fans. You just witnessed one of, if not THE, best QB performance in FBS history.

He has no Heisman moment to speak of. He played Florida State, Alabama, and Ole Miss and lost to all three of them. Stat padding against mediocre teams doesn't win you the Heisman. There are plenty of mid-major QBs who do this every weekend.

If anything he is far and away the “stat padder” along with Nix and company. This had to be the worst officiating on both sides of the ball I have seen in a long time. A LSU player got a targeting call that clearly wasn't targeting. A Florida player catches the ball that got called back.

He's not the clear Heisman frontrunner. Nix, Penix, and Harrison have distanced themselves from the field. Daniels puts up stats in meaningless games. He has never done this in a game that mattered against a team of the caliber of Georgia or Michigan. He's irrelevant, and he can be stopped, which is why his team has losses.

I wish the Saint could get him! We just got Carr but he got laid out today and Winston isn't a bad replacement he proved that straight off the bench! The saints don't get alot of LSU players in the draft or even in trades etc. I'm sure most don't want to come home or in the draft the Def don't want to stay here. Sports are a good way to get out of Louisiana 😆 Mathieu wanted to come back and end his career with in his home. Not saying he's retiring soon but he wanted to atleast play with the saints whether he says until he's finished idk his contract cuz anyone can get traded at anytime or not get offered an extension. I thought Thomas quit cuz he was out for 2 years then just reappeared this year... colston must have retired he was hear then he wasn't. Now that I think about it. Where's Jimmy Graham they traded him? Haven't seen him the last couple games or is he hurt? I hope JD succeeds in the pros cuz you never know until they get in the league. It's a different animal. I might be in the minority here... but is anyone else getting bored with the ''offense first'' and ''defense last'' mentality in college football? I mean, I get it, score points, but a good defense can be just as exciting and purposeful. Its just sad to see no one tackling anyone anymore, all the talent on the offense.
