You had one of best transmissions you can buy in the car originally should of stuck with it.

There's really no comparison between a 4-speed and the T-56 6-speed manual. The T-56 handles more power and has 2 more gears plus overdrive, a hydraulic clutch, smoother shifting... not really much to compare.

@@Thumper68 A good Muncie is a great trans for sure, but this car is designed to scream down the highway at a comfortable RPM with double the power of an SS396, so it's the right one for the job. For a stoplight dasher around town, the 4-speed is great!

Hello,.I just built a resto mod with 6 speed tremec.Dual disc Clutch .Everything is brand new.. I have the a issue with the clutch slipping. Im try to figure out how to adjust it to eliminate the slip.?.
