I bought the helmet a month ago. Its a very good one indeed. Before that, I also checked out the Shark evo one 2, but its mechanism didnt seem to work as good as the LS2 and the Shark service support.. well i couldnt find any.. Noise in LS2, not perfect not bad. Fitting, very very comfy. i usually wear medium size but it was too small, so i bought a Large and that fitted perfectly on my head. The seller said, most clients say that the form is too small so they usually buy one size up. Weight, the helmet feels light on my head despite the 1.7 and that's nice. After all, i am very satisfied.

I bought this helmet 11 months ago and absolutely love it. So many positions, incredibly comfortable and quiet.

The problem with noise on the original was around the chin bar folding mechanism. I made sure of this by covering the areas with electrical tape on one of my rides. It is deafening. Still loud with ear plugs in. Can’t even hear my Sena and I have a windscreen on my motorcycle that stops some of the wind. I hope they improved this because the other innovations this helmet has is why I bought it.

I bought this helmet recently and I'm very happy with it, had the older modular scope ff902 which did the job but nothing compared with the new Valiant II. The only flaw I found was that on windy days the helmet becomes very noisy as the same with going at high speeds, other than that is a very nice all round helmet.

I bought this helmet and it's great. Takes a little while to break it in but I do like the helmet and the versatility of it. Also, there are reflective properties for riding in the dark which are an added bonus.

Can you clarify the shell shape? You said neutral oval which falls between intermediate oval and round oval. The website says long oval. Please verify. For me. Thanks.

Helmet runs small in size. I wear a XL in a Corsair CT LE (police motorcycle helmet). Arai no longer makes police motorcycle helmets and my department is thinking about going with this modular helmet. I tried on a XXL and it applied too much pressure to my fore head and around the back portion of my jaw bone. With the helmet configured to a full face the pressure increased to the jaw bone area. Long story short the helmet was uncomfortable and was to small. I wear a Arai Corsair X for my personal off duty helmet. I tried on the Shoei Neo Tec II and it is a far superior helmet in comfort and fit for my head.

it's still a loud helmet and not sure the visor is fitting correctly on the bottom sil

Love the look, it's noisy tho, wind bounces on the outside of the helmet, I can kinda still tell audibly where things are going on around me, okay up to 110kmph after that I have 2 other helmets under $60 that are a lot quieter. The LS2VII is not "bad" it's just not "Great!"

Are these types of modular helmets appropriate for cruising in super bikes like a cbr?

is it valiant ii had the same ratchet with teh old valiant version? because i had the old valiant, and the ratchet is easy to brake (soory for my bad english)

3:47 the plastic piece that holds the cheek padding to the helmet broke. I applied less pressure than you from the video. And the main head liner is really hard to come off. Mine's a clearance helmet, so I knew lot of people might've wore it before me and wanted to wash the liner before wearing it full time. Contacted manufacturer. Hope they help me.

Do you make custom fitted ones?

I have both of the ❤️Valiant 2 and the SHARK EVO ONE 2 and I love the Valiant 2 a bit more than my Shark Evo One 2. The Valiant 2 has a longer sun visor than my Shark evo one 2. I posted a short video on my KZread page.

You can have the best product to sell to the public, but if you have bad customer service why bother. Revzilla not only have great product to sell but damn, they also have great customer service. I bought also and after 2000km it broke. Send back to seller and bad thing is that i can not get any information about it. They sey to me that it can take max to year to fix it. Have bougt new helmet not LS2 anymore :(

I really wish people would talk about head shape. The Valiant II is a round head design that puts pressure points on the forehead of people with an oval head. The original Valiant is comfortable for an oval head. Bummer I have to put up with an extra 3 ounces and unimproved cooling.

This is a great helmet for video. I have a GoPro mounted to the chinbar on my Valiant (1st gen), which gives you the added benefit of flipping to the back and shooting behind you! Some examples of that on my personal channel.

@@cy-one Sure. Here's a video of a group iron butt ride we did. I picked a spot in the video where it goes from my chin bar down (forward facing) to chin bar back (rear facing). The only bad thing is that you really have no idea where the camera is pointing, especially as you move you head. I do often run the GoPro app on my phone so I can see there what the camera sees, but that's a bit dangerous in some circumstances. If you flip the chinbar while filming, GoPro does not autorotate, but you can rotate the video in post. If you start the camera while facing back (using a remote or GoPro app) it does autorotate automatically. @@Road_Rash1 You'll have to get the new Lens Mod (often sold out) that automatically keeps the horizon level literally no matter what you do. I use mine for acro paragliding and kiteboarding and it's amazing. I'm going to use it on my helmet like you are when I get it...except yours will no longer have the auto rotation issue.

Sir what is your size on that helmet?

I have this helmet. (Bought it at a local Harley-Davidson Dealer, back on 06/03/2022). I haven't used it yet because I have issues with it and am currently attempting to rectify it with the LS2 Team. My issue is the Chin Bar was moved to the back of the helmet and it now will not swing back to the front position. It will move from the back to the top position, but, will not move past top position to the front ridint position. Does anyone have any feedback to help me correct this issue?

Considering this just because it looks like something out of Halo. Couple questions: What do you mean by "neutral oval"? Is it between intermediate oval and round oval? Or is it between Intermediate Oval and Long Oval? My head fits nicely into HJC helmets, which tend to be slightly rounder than Intermediate Oval. Any thoughts regarding how quiet it is in comparison to other modular helmets (IS-MAX 2 for example)?

It means the shape of the shell. Round Vs Oval. Ovals are longer front to back and skinnier sides than round which is more ball shaped. If you were born via C-Section (Cesarian Section), maybe your head wasn't pushed thru momma's hips and you might have a bigger rounder noggen. Of maybe you rock big hair. Or maybe you're genetically pre-disposed to more roundness (some Asian lineage) or more slimness (some Northern European lineage). Also body fat content plays a part in head shape. When in doubt, ask an honest friend. (Woke-sters... Yes I'm generalizing racial characteristics, remove your tampons or manpons and get on a bike and ride.)

Any good for wearing glasses? One of my main reasons for wanting a modular helmet.

Glasses work just fine with this helmet, as it is designed to fit most prescription options. A lot of non-modular helmets are designed that way too, if that helps your search.

Is this helmet very loud? Better ff399 or ff900?

2 Shells (XS-LG, XL-2XL), so the Large falls in the smaller of the two here in the US.

The Packtalk Bold would be able to work with this helmet, although it would take some thought for mounting and wiring the unit up. But 'universal' comm systems are designed to work with just about any helmet on the market, it just might take some trial and error on mounting it up. Yup! I have this helmet and have no problem taking my glasses on and off with the helmet on. It allows them to fit comfortably as well so your not feeling pain from your glasses frame being pushed up against you

Is the face shield about the same size as the ls2 horizon

@@tinman3505: I'm not sure about the Sena's footprint but I used the tape with my Cardo (PackTalk Bold). It fit easily right next/behind the lever for the inner face shield. It was clear of the hinge assembly, and it's still reachable using your left or right hand. You may have to turn your head a little to use your right hand though!

@@kenlocke9806 I bought the valiant 1st gen for my wife a 2 weeks ago and had no problem mounting the Sena 50S with the mounting clip. It fit right behind the inner shield lever so I'm assuming it should mount the same for the Valiant II

They will not tell you. I called them and said what's your best helmet they said all helmets are good and bad. I said what's your best seller, they said it fluctuates. They were positive about every model and brand I mentioned 🤷🏻‍♂️

I originally pre ordered one of the first batch and the delivery date kept getting pushed back so I cancelled the order. Glad I did because it fits small. I was able to try one on at a local store but it was a color I didn’t like. Now, my email is on the list for when they come in stock again but now I’m told sometime in September. Been waiting for almost a year for an XL.

I just received my valiant 2 in the mail, I’ll let you know how it goes. Riding with it to work tomorrow in the morning. Will be 20 degrees F put so we’ll see if it can keep me warm with the vents closed

So ugly it's cool! Seriously, Put one on, raise the chinbar, slap on a pair of aviator sunglasses and stand in front of a mirror. If you don't see why this helmet is so cool...drop the inner shield and look again
