Oh how I love this song. As soon as i get in the car it's the first song I play. It transports me somewhere, a place incredibly beautiful & mesmerizing, yet it holds an aching, haunting sadness. I can stop hitting replay though, over & over. Love you LP. What a gift you are.

K Gem 56 - Oh I so am glad you pointed that out. You HEAR the love and yearning for her mother. LP says somewhere in an interview that she sat on a cliff after her mother passed and the entire melody came to her - in a whistle. And that that’s when she decided to pursue music seriously as a profession. You can hear her artist’s heart come to a resolution and her poetic soul make a promise - “it’s forever...for now”.
