I was sad to see she had other bands backing her.Look at these men watch her every minute their heart is her halo they bring out the very best of her not over powering her .I love her so much but this song doesn't sound as good with other bands.

100%. See "Fighting with Myself" from the same session and other live performances. These are all session musicians. They're so tight, I've questioned if it was prerecorded. Then I realized these are the people who record those prerecordings in 1-2 takes. Serious talent to have technical mastery with feeling - just like LPs voice :)

Yes absolutely the finest young artist I have found blessings to her.

One of the reasons LP's voice is so amazing is that she was classically trained in opera which explains she has incredible resonance to help project her voice on stage.

I love this version of „Halo“ a lot. So much power and emotion. LP is one of the most underrated singers. Her range is unbelievable.

she got such a fast vibrato in her voice, it's almost like magic, such control in her voice and microphone control, very impressive, would love to perform with her, sometimes the world is blessed with people with great natural talent, live she is even better than on recordings, she is a singer in heart and soul, im a musician for 25 years and a sound engineer, im not that easily impressed, thank you LP

OMG! How did I end up getting to this party so late?! Devastated that I’ve missed years knowing about one of the coolest people on the planet, but so thankful that I’ve finally discovered LP. How rare for a cover to eclipse the original. LP has totally made this her own. i can understand why you say that and i can also understand why she isn't a global superstar, the masses are not that woke :) (i'm old so you can laugh when i say that lol). but truth be told, this video has 34 MILLION views, so she's alot more famous than i assumed she was when i discovered her about 5 weeks ago! let's just sit back and take her in and be happy that she can perhaps lead a normal life and not succumb to the attrocities of being a global superstar xoxo

She's more popular in Europe. But believe it or not, you've probably already heard her work. She has written songs for other artists as well, like Rihanna's "Cheers (Drink to That)", also Christina Aguilera, The Backstreet Boys.....

Alex Ciero Saw her on Direct TV on Audience (fantastic venue for music lovers) and was an instant F A N!!! It's been about 6 months and I still love her music!!! OH....and she's pretty well grounded but it looks like she's gaining fans, good for her. =)

She is SHE WOMAN

A new listener (yes, I have lived under a rock for the last three decades). As an observation: the musical back up are absolutely focused on giving all to the singer LP. And I thought what a special person LP must be to have her entire support system so dedicated to her successful fulfillment of her personal achievement. LP is well-admired and loved by her fans. There must be good reason even if I know not any of. Edit: After a few months: It's her musically spooffystyle flaire.

I love LP’s unique vocal range. And the band is tight! There’s so much energy in this performance. It pulls me in instantly.

I saw her live in Medellín, her energy is beyond words, it's pure magic

Ive only been listening to LP for like 2 weeks and I think I know every word to every song of hers and know way too much about her. She is an interesting woman. I usually dont care too much about artists...only the music. But she is so damn intriguing. That voice though....so much damn soul.

Michael Moats dude I was RIGHT THERE WITH YOU about this time last year...and if we are being honest this song came up on my play list up here and once again I am diving down that rabbit hole today. She is so goddamn inspiring to me!The fact that her music is finally getting out there as HER music, along with the radio playing more of her music; I believe she will continue to grow. She will continue to outshine the vast, and severely overpopulated, majority of superficial, egotistical, and materialistic "artists" that people can't seem to get enough of. While becoming well known as a wonderful, inspiring, and WORTHY icon/idol for the younger generation, and speaking strictly musically; in general, I hope people see her for the amazingly diverse and well rounded musician she truly is, along with the COUNTLESS lines she crosses, lyrically and instrumentally; as well as her style in general. Fuck I love her music so much...

No, she is NOT! Why do you people keep writing words like Genius, Masterpiece, Best Ever? Are you listening to her voice? It's atrocious, ask any professional vocalist. Her vibrato is awful. She writes good songs (Lost On You) but that is it, she's a great songwriter, nothing more.

It's bc she's NOT auto-tuned in a sterile ear package. Her voice is HER voice; her voice is HER VOICE. Also, at least SHE enunciates unlike ahem Beyonce... And can hold a note far longer than ahem Beyonce. Lol I suspect you're just used to what you're used to. Honestly, I doubt you're old enough to have EVER gone to a live music performance that didn't include auto-tune, etc. No disrespect intended... You're just musically attenuated to a diffent "sound". No big deal. Just listen to what makes YOU happy :)
