Music used to be my everything till I fell in such a deep depression, and the most horrific thing happened....Music stopped for me, it didn't mean anything to me anymore, the words and melody and beats just passed me by like a zombie trapped in her tomb....And then LP happened and I felt myself breathing air again and hearing once more the words of poetry making my weak heart beat again. And for that I can only thank you. Although the chances are scarce that you would see this post. I would just like to put it out there anyway. Thank you

There are not too many artists that can sound Better if not the same as a recorded session. The range in her voice is phenomenal. She not only sings the song but feels it. Watch how she walks away from the mic, for a fade effect. This video/LIVE session is outstanding. You do not get enough credit LP.

I saw her play in a little bar in Kentucky over 10 years ago. You have no idea. We had never heard of her. Our mouths fell open when she started to sing. It was phenomenal. Best live singer I've ever seen.

For me listening to LP is like walking into a small room lit with candles and being given a space to acknowledge and process feelings of sadness, heartbreak and loneliness but not feeling alone as you go through it. She's so authentic, so deep, so real. Finding her music has been incredibly healing and enjoyable for me. Will be a lifelong fan for sure.

Ahem…is this mike on..good, ahem…TROUBADOUR is a fitting title: lyrical composer of poetry, starting in the 13th century, pertaining mostly of ‘courtly love’. The first time I heard Lauren it was her voice that blew me away how long she can hold a note then change without breathing..powerful

Amazing voice either way (and also the voice leans more 'female' while the looks more towards 'male', so if you don't know much about her you want to know what they identify with so you can properly refer to them ^_^ )

Just learned about L.P! Why haven't we heard about her in the U.S., she is the most mesmerizing singer that I have heard in a long time, kinda like a reincarnation of Yma Sumac and Edith Piaf. Going out to get all her songs!!

Brenda Shirvis we absolutely ADORE her here in Greece!!!! She is by far the BEST I've heard in years. And she has such a down to earth personality. So real. So sweet. You should see her in concert. It's an experience - oh my god!!!!

I've only just been introduced to LP's music by my friend and I'm honestly obsessed! That voice is incredible! Gives me chills, and one of the only artists I've ever heard who sounds better live than in a studio, it has more soul to it!

@@fredmichaels418 I mean maybe? But I think it is more about the magic that only a life performance can invoke. She shines live because it is not some means to an end mission. When singing live there is so much energy feeding back into her. She is lost in the beauty of it all. She closes her eyes when she sings. She feels every note.
