Although I was never in to low riders, I see this as a win for car culture in general. 💪🏼

❤ cruising not to be confused for a "street take over" one has expensive cars for show the other is reckless destruction of vehicle's roads and senseless violence

This is one area Kentucky is actually way ahead. They outlawed us in the late 80s. Big brother.

I wasn't a lowrider, but I have very fond memories of cruising my '63 Ford, 390 CID, 4 speed on the floor muscle car on E st in San Berdoo, CA on the weekends during my high school days in the mid '60's. Ahhh... , those were the days, glory days and nights. The days before the rise in 'no cruising' laws.

My Mom had a Chevy Malibu wagon just like the purple one in the story. It would have blown her mind to see her old station wagon look’n so damn cool.😎

It was a bs law to begin with. There is nothing wrong with showing off a beautiful piece of art 🎨 while you're crusing. They're not causing any trouble

Interesting how they restrict low rider cruising (which they do super slow), yet fast street racing restrictions are not enforced.

Up next: LA bans cars made before 1990 from public roads.

I’m older than most of you, had a lowered Geo Tracker with a huge stereo system in the early 90’s and within the last couple of decades had a lifted Cherokee, Tacoma, Wrx, a speed boat and a Mustang GT. They are/or were fun in their own unique way, gave many good memories.
