Bird Watching and Feather Hunting in the Hiwassee Wildlife Reserve on the Tennessee River in our 56 Carver Voyager. Travelling the lakes, rivers, and oceans. We anchor and stay at Marinas in Tennessee, Alabama, Missouri, Kentucky, Illinois, Indiana, and Michigan so far. Future plans are to take the boat cruising to Florida and The Bahamas in winter, 2023. Great video! What a magical place to spend a few days birdwatching. So blessed to have the Tennessee River as our home cruising area.
What model Highfield do you have? Looks like a 310 or maybe 380? Are you happy with the size? I just bought a 56 voyager and am trying to decide on dinghy size.

We bought the Classic 340. The size is perfect. The door going up from cockpit can still open with the dinghy secured in the upper cradle. We got the 20 HP Tohatsu engine. We are really happy with it. It is under the 600-pound limit of the davit with fuel, battery and accessories. Where are you located with your Carver?

Congratulations on you new 56 Carver Voyager ! We feel they are the perfect boat for cruising we do going back and forth from Chattanooga to Michigan.

@@FreebirdonTheGreatLoop it's located in Green Turtle Bay Marina , I'm having it hauled out and bottom painted and everything checked. My home Marina is Louisville Kentucky, we'll be sailing her up in a couple weeks!

@@jdwky69 Green Turtle is a fun place to stop. We should be there again sometime in May. Ed said, while it is out make sure they check the annodes and oil resevoir in the bow and stern thrusters.
