Great Loop Backwards Travel Day 4
We travel from Florence Alabama to Grand Harbor Marina in Counce, Tennessee. Ed almost backed into a No Wake bouy as he spun Freebird around to leave Florence Harbor. Instead of anchoring, we stay in a covered slip at Grand Harbor due to threats of bad weather including hail.
Adventures of Freebird on The Great Loop 56 Carver Voyager Yacht travelling the lakes, rivers, and oceans. We anchor and stay at Marinas in Tennessee, Alabama, Missouri, Kentucky, Illinois, Indiana, and Michigan so far. Future plans are to take the boat cruising to Florida and The Bahamas. I enjoyed the video of the rock quarries. My Dad and I mined and crushed Aztec Sandstone in the mountains outside of Las Vegas. There were no rivers there to transport it. Only dusty old roads!

I really like watching the barge loading activity along the rivers. We were lucky to get some great video loading rock, sand, gravel, coal and grain. The loading scenes are mostly in our videos of river travel. Thanks for watching. 🛟

Wonderful adventures. RV parks are as much or more than your stay in a covered slip and we are only a 20 ft trailer using 30 amp.
