Take it from an older dude from New Jersey, there is no place prettier than the whole highway 12 section thru the Boulder area. My wife and I discovered Calf Creek Falls by accident back in 1995. What a wonderful sidetrip it is...so pretty and peaceful.

Great vid and great location. Everything between the 12 and Boulder Mountain is one of my favorite places in Utah, you totally have to check out the Western side of Box-Death Hollow Wilderness if you haven't already. The road up to Posey Lake/Hell's Backbone is one of my favorites in Utah, the oddly lush forests for that part of Utah paired with the views out over the desert are incredible.

@@TheVirtualSherpa Haven't done the whole thing but Pine Creek Box trail is great, you go all the way from the bottom of the area all the way to the top at Hell's Backbone. It's on my list to do this spring depending. The road from Escalante to Posey Lake has a couple trails along it that I've wanted to check out for a while. You can take that dirt road all the way up and over the top to Loa and Fish Lake, haven't done much hiking around there but I've seen a lot of trailheads along the road.
Hiked this one around a year ago on a hot day. Nothing like seeing those massive rock wallsand walking through that goregous canyon. AnywayKeep up the great work man your videos are awesome quality and a joy to watch. You should come check out cali i think the 14ers here are calling you name lol. We have some pretty cool ones.
