Lower BLOOD PRESSURE Naturally (10 Things to Know) 2024

High Blood Pressure is far too common, and a risk factor for terrible things like Heart Attack, Stroke, and Kidney Failure. We've been trained to think Hypertension is a chronic, progressive disease that can only be treated with a handful of pills, and never reversed. What if this weren't true? How to lower your blood pressure naturally is a question you have every right to ask.
High blood pressure in most people is caused by a known set of causes, and by removing these causes hypertension can be reversed. Do you take 1-3 pills each day for your high blood pressure? Reversing your high blood pressure enough to stop even one daily pill will be a victory.
If in the process of reversing your high blood pressure you also lose some weight and decrease your aches and pains, please don't be upset. Many other problems can be corrected by these same 7 principles. Just don't fall for the 3 myths you might have heard...

A month ago my doctor wanted to put me on hp meds because I was 130/90. I told her no thanks but I would do it naturally. I immediately took dandelion and magnesium supplements, stopped drinking alcohol, transitioned to keto, walked 4 miles a day and now my bp is consistently around 115/78.

@@ISILENTNINJAI That is not a great reason to reject a great outcome -- (that it was achieved "the wrong way"). Just think about it. Band Buddy has reduced the risk imposed by hypertension. Reduced the cardiovascular and T2 diabetes risks caused by overweight. Probably improved blood measures. But -- Shock! Horror! There remains the giant problem of having achieved all that "the wrong way". Come on, man. The great outcome is a reduction in a bundle of risks. PS Well done, Band Buddy!

@@T-aka-T you are taking my comment way out of proportion. Keto works to lose weight but that doesn't mean its healthy. Why cut out all the carbs in your system and ingest a huge amount of fat when you can just eat a well balanced diet with healthy foods. No one is taking his succes in losing weight away from him. Im simply stating doing keto is not healthy which is not. Definitely healthier than being obese and having high blood pressure but doing keto is unnecessary to do so. Specially when it will negatively affect your hormones. You are the one being totally irrational as I never said he did it the wrong way cuz there is no wrong way to lose weight. I simply stated The doctor is right to say that keto is not healthy. I think you need to stop getting butt hurt just cuz someone has a differing official than yours bud.

@@ISILENTNINJAI OK, I have slightly edited my reply to make it clearer and less triggering for you: the upshot is that this person's risks have been reduced, not added to. I am not "butt hurt" (whatever that means!) My butt is going great on ketovore. Further -- the brain PREFERS ketones over sugar. The only cells in the body that we know need sugar are red blood cells (they have no mitochondria). But the liver supplies that with gluconeogenesis. No dietary sugar is required. Carbohydrates are just "little rows of sugar holding hands" (Dr David Unwin) -- when you eat carbs, they turn to sugar in your body (a bad thing if you have a broken metabolism -- may be fine if you are a young gym junkie -- WHILE you are young). Where do you get the idea that keto affects hormones? I think you'll find it's the other way around -- indeed Neisha herself has Hashimoto's thyroiditis and controls it with ketovore.

As a medical professional, I gently try to tell my clients (yes no longer are we allowed to say we take care of patients!) that if they’re interested, they should look into keto food plan. I don’t say diet, because it truly is a way of life. And of course, can’t give actual “medical advice”. And of course, the majority of people I see don’t want to hear about this anyway because they’d rather enjoy their body positivity and stay with their current habits. Little do they know that chf is coming their way. Great work! Keep it up!

Right until I was on stairs and it dislocated and I fell down the stairs ripping everything with my kneecap totally dislocated laterally. I walked on that for a week and finally my parents took me to a dr and to the surgeon I went who did a bad job with the 1st 3 major surgeries of my life. Horrible experiences too I might add. As adult ended up with additional 5 surgeries. Back surgeries related to pars planar and facet joint fracture at L5-S1 on the left. And I’ve bilateral joint SI joint arthritis bone on bone as well.

Thanks to you yesterday was my 30th day on the carnivore challenge. Two weeks into it my twice a day 10 mg Lynn sprawl was causing my blood pressure to crash to a point where I had no energy. When I realized what was happening I cut back on the pills to a point where I was taking none. Saw my doctor he reduced my dosage to 5 mg. I took that for three days and it was still causing my blood pressure to go too low. I haven’t had a blood pressure pill for over a week now and a few minutes ago it was 123/79. Oh yeah, I’ve also lost 16 pounds! Thank you for what you do I am a fan and have shared many of your videos with friends who are trying it also

Fatty liver is not from healthy fats in diet. It is all from sugars and carbohydrates. Avoid processed seed oils, margarine, shortening too. Dr. Berry will give you lots of good general information in his videos to learn so you can improve your lifestyle. Animal protein and healthy fats are needed. Essential amino acids + Essential fatty acids But there are NO Essential Carbohydrates. Start with three meals a day; Meat + low carb, non-starchy vegetable + healthy fat; eat until satiated and not hungry until next meal 4 hours later. No snacking. After 2 months, you can lower 3 meals to 2 meals. This improves insulin sensitivity. Meat (include eggs) + low carb, non-starchy vegetable + healthy fat until satiated until next meal. Try at 10 am and 4-5 pm. Choose your time to eat schedule that fits with work & family schedule. After 2 months, you can even do occasional OMAD. One meal a day. You will have to eat until fully satiated. The rest of the time you fast. See Dr. Berry’s video about electrolytes. No snacking. Triglycerides show if carbs intake is too high, you want triglycerides low. Do not focus on LDL or TC. (Statins do NOT work, they worsen insulin resistance and diabetes and cause lots of side effects) Testing lab inflammatory markers in blood will show progress as well as waist circumference. Waist circumference at navel should be less than half of height (in inches) Use a non stretch string; no sucking in gut. This will cost nothing; good way to test at home. You may initially feel fatigued especially if your previous diet was high in carbohydrates. Give it time. This is best if you continue for life; it is not a quickie diet and go back to eating sugar. You will soon become aware just how much junk food, sugar, processed foods other people eat. Many of us found it even better if whole family in household join, so no crap in the house to induce cravings. Keep them out of the house. Watch all of his videos. You will also find videos of other excellent doctors like: Dr. Paul Mason Dr. Richard K. Bernstein Dr. Mark Hyman You shouldn’t have to pay for a diet; just eat healthy food that are not inflammatory. Avoid grains Avoid all forms of sugar Avoid legumes Avoid tubers Avoid fruits and juices Avoid starchy vegetables & vegetable juices Avoid soy/fake meat Avoid hidden sugars in condiments, sauces, spice mixes; learn all the names given to the huge amount of sugars Example: maltodextrin Manufacturers fool you into buying products so they can profit.$$$$$$$$$$ Use TOTAL Carbohydrate grams when learning. 4 grams = 1 teaspoon of sugar. Stick to 0-20 grams of TOTAL carbohydrates per day, but foods that raise blood sugar very slowly like described above. Not 20 grams of chocolate bar (Fast acting carbs) Enjoy your learning journey and improved health!

Doc, I got a hypothesis. If you discover high insulin, check for high cortisol. The stress of high insulin, and how that disrupts liver function as well may be causing the release of excess cortisol due to the distress of the whole organism. Cortisol raises BP. Most doctors check neither. Glad you and others like you do.

Truth! However, I wanted to suggesting to sites "that you include topics on how Wireless technology at work and at home is causing Blood Pressure to raise. Wireless Technology with antennas over your Head your brain all day at work, and against your body via the laptop and cell phone, cause toxicity in your body, raising blood pressure. Our Bodies have their own Electromagnetic Field to begin with, and external cellular has magnetic fields that interfere with that. Please share info on that and how to detox from cellular toxicity. There's techniques like Pulsed Electromagnetic Field Therapy, that can relieve people of cellular toxicity (devices can be thousands of dollars each). There's a book called "TOXIC Heal Your Body from Mold Toxicity, Lyme Disease, Multiple Chemical Sensitivities, and Chronic Environmental Illness" by Neil Nathan M.D. There's a book titled "P.E.M.F. The Fifth Element of Health" Authored by Bryan A. Meyers, is informative too. There's meters-devices that measure your exposure to cellular radiation. Its Critical for the Medical Associations, Cardiology Associations etc to address and demand guidelines for Companies, Human Resources, Healthcare Industries to accommodate Employees and their Customers/Patients with the correct tools in the work place to maintain Employee/Patient Safety! Thank you! I hope to hear from you! I'm contacting the Department of Health and Human Services as well asking for them to engage in this matter. The new 5G Cellular technology antennas are DANGEROUS! My Dr did not make me happy when he told me to do DASH diet for high bp. Hates keto. Until evidence becomes clearer, I am hesitant to go all in on any diet. This fellow may be god’s gift to medicine. But, the extreme praise is worrying. With all the conflicting info out there, people set themselves up for disappointment and potential poor health by investing too much faith in one medical expert.

My bp has been staggeringly high for at least 20 years, I have kidney disease, I had my left kidney removed in 2012...I refused to take any drugs, much to my GP dismay, I've tried every 'diet' going...including 4 years raw vegan, I have a home BP machine so I can check every day...my only concession to my long suffering GP...... 10 days my BP 130/75.....it has NEVER been that low!! THANKYOU Dr Ken Berry...I have literally put my life on hold and watched everything I've found on KZread to learn all that I can about this way of LIFE Xxxxx

I've been intermittent fasting and my BP is still high. You said you started Keto and your BP went down in 10 days? Please let me know what you did it.

@@antwanmcafee2496 you also wanna lower stress levels lower carbs add good high fat foods and if possible try a water only fast for maybe 1-3 days and see if that helps.Good luck

My kidney complications caused my high bp, and keto somehow bought it into normal peramaters.... I eat one meal a day, my plate is half salad, I use half an avocado as a ‘dressing’ and the other half of my plate is meat, quite a lot... an example is 12oz rib-eye, or 300g of steak and a chicken thigh, or roast lamb.... that’s it.... I don’t snack, weight loss is really slow cause that’s a fair few calories... I drink water and take potassium, magnesium, zinc and b12....hope helps

While I'm watching your video I am taking notes. But at the same time . I'm saying to myself that this video is 100% better than going into the Doctors office. You explained everything about what to do to lower your blood pressure . All you have to do is follow your instructions . Thank for sharing.

I have been on Keto for about 4 years. I have never felt better. am 68 but now weigh the same as I did 50 years ago, 70 kgs for 1.72. My blood pressure is 110/75. Resting pulse 48. I weight train 4 times a week and have a body fat % of between 10/12%. At a recent annual check up, the Dr told me I needed to eat less and lose weight. On receiving the report, I went back to discuss and asked her from where I was supposed to lose the weight. It seems as soon as total cholesterol goes above the norm, they are obliged by hospital policy to give such advice, in spite of me having low triglycerides and high HDL. They either don't understand blood lipids, or are hell bent on prescribing Statins whenever the chance presents itself. Any wonder the world statin market is estimated to be over 15 billion US$ a year...

Had high BP as well as high triglycerides most of my adult life. Was vegan for 6 years and BP stayed elevated, triglycerides went down only a little.Started eating fish and some meat but was still heavy on carbs. Before my diet change my BP was 160/80 and 170/90,im 65.I have since gone on a carnivore diet for several months,my recent BP reading was 130/78 and triglycerides 86.Lowest readings ever in my adult life.

After being nearly ruined by pills and lies, your advice has given me a new lease on life. Able to walk, exercise, and more importantly work. I am not in perfect health but its enough to say I can get up everyday with confidence to get task done and provide for myself. Its takes me about 2 to 3 mins to chop up some vegetable and fruits and do basic work out now, I add some fish and chicken. Avoid juices, diet drinks, soda, heavy carbs like breads, french fry, fast foods, pastas, big bowls of cereal. Thank you for helping me lose 20lbs and stand up. Everybody has a different body type, this just works for me.

I love these videos and that "Doctors" voice those principles. I was introduced to these by groups of alternative healing principles. It's my second winter on Keto/IF and I have slowly had many many benefits. Combined with Meditation like Louise Hay on self-healing, I lowered my BP medication, have no more knee arthritis, start jogging again after 15 years, inflammation and blood sugar is back down on blood tests, etc. BUT, salt and caffeine do affect me, my heart rate, and my blood pressure.

Hello DR. Ken, My wife and I would love to add Spanish subtitles to this, and maybe a couple more videos. My in-laws had checkups when they went to Mexico and the results were not good. Believe it or not, they give the same medical advice down there as they do here...lower sugar, meat, and fat. When I attempts to add subtitles it says that it does not accept community contributions. Not sure if you set it up that way on purpose, but I think your videos can help many people beyond our borders as well if you allow people to add subtitles. Thank you for such great information in all your videos!

I was keto for 24 weeks. I lost 60 lbs, and I was able to get off my diabetes meds, thyroid meds, and I even was able to stop using my walking cane. I’d used it for nearly 4 years due to osteoarthritis and arthritis under both kneecaps. I decided to try Carnivore to try and get of my blood presser meds and hopefully one day, my acid reflux meds. About 6 weeks in, and I decided to go without my BP meds and keep a close eye on my numbers. 2 weeks later, and my BP and glucose numbers are perfect! I’ve lost 99 lbs over all (due to low carb/Atkins, Keto, and now Carnivore). I still have 170 lbs or so to lose, but I’m on my way! Most importantly, I’m healing from the inside out!
