Yeah, well my lund has a tiki torch holder and it's got ultra ergonomic hand locations and a usb electric toothbrush charger, and my buddy has one with a strategically engineered leaky transom to help extinguish any onboard fires, lol. Good video, I certainly agree with you.

Just bought a 2021 Lowe roughneck heavy duty tunnel 1860 with , 80 hp Merc. jet my Christmas present from the wife its a tank.

My dad had a boat called a lowe 1930 it had a 90hp Johnson was nineteen foot had a Bimini top too was so nice 🙂

I’ve enjoyed listening to a number of your videos. Before I bought my boat I looked at the following: Tracker, G3, Lund, Starcraft, alumacraft, crestliner and Lowe. I bought the Lowe 1775 Fishing Machine. The reason I chose Lowe was for the following reasons: All welded .100 aluminum hull. All welded transom and deck lids Most of the other boats have .100 thick hulls but some are thinner. I liked the floor design and flip up rear deck. The boat has many standard features and options that are less expensive. The overall cost fully loaded was a minimum of $5k less but as much as around $10k for the same equipped boat from other manufacturers One thing that concerned me was the Lowe transom width was typically narrower than the other boats. I’m sure that is one reason why it’s cheaper. However the difference in price left me money to buy a top of the line fishfinder and trolling motor. Both are going to make fishing much more enjoyable. I also bought the ski package for my grandchildren. Overall I think Lowe is the best value for the money. The National Advertised Price and dealer discount helped lower the total price. No other manufacturer or dealer provided any discounts on their boats. Most said I’d have to wait a year to get one if I was lucky.

Basically you're biased on Lowe boats over Lund. I recently bought a Rebel XL SS I was looking at the Lowe Deep V comparable model. After physically walking around and rummaging through both models (Lund was $1,500 more) I leaned towards Lund. The fit and finish was head and shoulders above the Lowe hands down. The options offered were also upgraded and or better to certainly make up the difference of cost. The first one was a bluetooth kicker stereo at $475.00 that was already factory installed. The locator was also much better as well and the Lowe"s was almost as large as a large cell phone screen. They are both owned by the same company along with many others, but you just can't go wrong with the Lund for resale and overall quality. Period.

He has done other videos degrading Lund boats so he is either biased against Lund or he is just trying to get clicks, which I think is more likely. At least he says the is expressing opinion, though sometimes he does state info as fact when it's not. I hope no-one is using his videos to make a purchasing decisions but if they do, shame on them for not researching further.

I get what you're saying in theory a welded boat is better except for the fact They are welded by a machine and the Welds don't hold up. The quality control attractor is very low. They have brought many boats back and even told them to the insurance company because there are so many faulty Welds on them. I don't live in a huge area area and there are several businesses that just Weld aluminum boats like tracker that have cracked. Low is a lower end boat there a bargain boat pumped out low quality. I work on boats do you know maybe you've been on a boat you have opinions and theories. If a low or a tracker boat starts to leak where do you start what if you can't find it. You would have to remove the entire interior of that boat to find out where it's leaking. Now if you have a boat that is riveted it did and it has a week it's gonna be pretty easy to figure out and you're not gonna have to tear the entire boat apart to find that leak. I have 3 lund boats right now. One of them is a 2010 put it up against any tracker that's a 2010 and this boat still is way more valuable and still looks like it's brand new. These bargain boats do not hold up they're not made with quality materials they don't even have a good paint job. People are going to buy them regardless because they are affordable but to say that they are better is just completely false.

In all your boat reviews why do you compare everything to Lund?

Had a couple of friends that owned Lowe boats, they were JUNK!!!

For my money I look for a clean used boat and let someone else take the depreciation hit.

@@baileydannels831 If you compare two boats that are the same or close, If you compare the LUND Renegade to the Lowe Stinger 178, the LUND is all welded just like the Lowe. is 17 feet 8 inches the lund 17 feet 9 inches. the Lund is also wider then the Lowe by an inch, a lot of little things add up, also you choose what extras you want not the boat company, so do your home work,
