Dude, awesome looking speaker set except... Where are the pictures of the subwoofer? I'll be blunt - I can't afford the set, but whoever can is going to want to see what the sub looks like. So, you need to include that on the sale page. Just my thoughts, good luck with getting them sold!

Dumb question but what do I need to use these... Can I plug a Chromecast audio into it for example and be good, or do I need an external amp for it.

after 10 years of designing countless speakers, if've been hasitating to do this step myself. kudos for taking this leap of faith and good luck man! excellent price for this build quality. hope this is viable. been calculating project costs for years now and came to the conclusion that i couldn't do a pair of bookshelfs for 500$. even if they were widerange… and you're mixing in a sub as well.

Impressive! I am on the same path although it appears I’m 5 years later and I’m 61. Well you do the math! I really like the comment you made about the speakers being a canvas for creativity. I just discovered that recently having been a builder my entire life but just learning the audio side. Thanks for all you do. Your humble, sincere personality makes it all the more enjoyable to watch. I will continue learning from you young man! BTW I have been working on numerous 3D baffle designs with router only. Time for a CNC so I can duplicate them. Thanks again.

Fantastic way to build custom speakers that stand out. If i were to personally do it I would have matched the pattern to both the same but inverted but that's me. Gives way to some great idea's with a cnc router table. Also I'm not sure what wood you used but Having played with oak for my build, it seems that it was rather rough and grainy the wood you used. Maybe consider the front panels should you do more like this out of a harder wood so that it smooths better. Passing thoughts is all. And maybe even out of a butcher board/counter top design could really play well 3D wise with a design like this giving it even more depth. Really enjoy the look of these, very unique and aesthetic. Love it.

I like it! Lovely look. I know the pleasure of doing some manual work on the projects, but wouldn't it make sense not only for alot easier assembly and alignment but also air tightness of the boxes to cut all sides on the CNC and add locking rabbets to them? I mean, if you're doing small production runs and such it would probably save some time as its quick and easy both to design and cut rabbets on the cnc.

There's a lot of competition out there when it comes to speaker building. Also how to manufacture them so that you can make it, financially. But if you produce speakers in bulk so that financially you can make it. It takes away from the art in hand building speakers and becomes more Manufacturing which can be lifeless. I share the same passion you do. I also build speakers. But I couldn't financially continue as it becomes quite expensive but I am starting up again. I wish you the best of luck and maybe one day we might both be up there in designing speakers
