I have made similar posts elsewhere, so apologies if you have already read them.🙏 I was in the audience this day singing along to this ANTHEM OF OURS. Everyone there was crying and singing along in pure joy and happiness at this beautiful moment of being able to play and hear their music again at this resurrection concert. That was something that was more important to people's minds, beyond the good or bad of the songs or performances.

Welcome back. What I hear is a drive for perfection encompassing composition, performance and production of the stage. Asami sounds as if Pat Benatar and Bruce Dickinson fused. Midori sounds like a perfected Joe Satriani. Miyako is a multi talented Marty Friedman. Both Miho and Fami have the chops of Entwhistle and aggression of Steve Harris. As far as Haruna can’t compare to anyone she is the one and only “LITTLE BIG ENGINE”🤘🏼🎸🥁🎤🤘🏼

I will travel from one end of Germany to the other to see them live in June, two 8-hour train rides and hundreds of euros in hotel costs. I'll take a couple of days of vacation. But since they will have come all the way from Japan, I guess that's the least I can do. Other fans I've heard of went to Japan to see them in concert.

This is an overview of LOVEBITES 55 self-written songs and 3 covers (plus 6+1 covers by band members) with all of your reactions marked with a star (*). As you already know, all these songs are great, they have no bad, weak or meh songs, and no fillers at all. Every song is special, you could randomly select a song, best life, of course, and LOVEBITES won't disappoint you. They play many different Heavy Metal styles with a certain LOVEBITES sound, they revive the masters of the 80's (and 90's) in a fresh and modern way. LOVEBITES may have the most talented musicians around, all of them S tier. Drummer Haruna is relentless like a metronome, both Miho and Fami master their bass (for Fami's capabilities, you should visit "Alien Alien" from my list, it's in her KZread channel will almost 700K subscribers), the dual guitars M&M (for Midori and Miyako) is most certainly the best duo for trading guitar solos and harmonizing, and Asami's voice is stellar with big range, powerful belt and good vibrato. She is also a trained ballerina with exceptional stage presence. One reactor caller her "Stage General", which is perfectly put. Hard, tight, fast, relentless, effortless and clean, that's LOVEBITES. Fasten your seat belt and enjoy your ride!

It is only about 2hrs by car from Zurich to Lindau. I'd take the whole day and hang out a bit on lake of Constance (Bodenseee).

Glad to see you back, and you look well (hope that's a reflection of your actual state!). Great way to come back. Yes, you are on target with their influences--Racer X, DF and Akira Takasaki are certainly in there (they toured with DF), but they also draw heavily on Beethoven, Chopin, Rachmaninoff, Sabbath, Purple, Metallica, Maiden and many more. It's the synthesis of all that which makes their sound unique. That, and, as you said, being flawless. That helps a lot!

Great review. Yes, this song is for joy, not really to listen seriously. This song is their anthem played at the end of their concerts often. They play it for the crowd engagement, interacting with the audience.

Set closer here on night 2 of their 2023 comeback concerts. You can see they are all just having fun, and that makes it more enjoyable to watch. Refresher: Asami on vocals. Yes, you are on target with their influences--Racer X, DF and Akira Takasaki are certainly in there (they toured with DF), but they also draw heavily on Beethoven, Chopin, Rachmaninoff, Sabbath, Purple, Metallica, Maiden and many more. It's the synthesis of all that which makes their sound unique. That, and, as you said, being flawless. That helps a lot!
