Saw them in Tokyo last fall. Yes, they're that good. And still getting better.

My favorite metal band in thew world. The talent, the showmanship, the stage presence, the music obviously. They're amazing. Pretty much anything you find in their catalog is a masterclass. I love when they lean into thrash like this, so you can't go wrong with Thunder Vengeance or Set the World on Fire, but We the Unitedis a good one too. It's the unofficial anthem for Lovebites and the Wolfpack, and comes from the second night of these two shows. It's on their official channel.

Since the new bassist FAMI joined, they haven't yet embarked on a full-scale world tour. There are some overseas performances scheduled for 2024, but seriously, really, truly, I hope all of you get the chance to experience a LOVEBITES concert if possible. I attended their concert in TOKYO last September, and it was the most exciting experience of my life. Please continue with the LOVEBITES reactions. Thank you. 🥰🤘

Undeniable elite/virtuoso level talent. Even you don't like the style of music they play, you cannot deny their talent. Now for me, they are simply my favorite band.

Even though original bassist Miho left the band in 2021, her decision to found Lovebites is (for me) one of the best in the history of Heavy Metal. And since Thrash Metal is my favourite metal subgenre, "The Hammer of Wrath" is one of my overall favourite songs by Lovebites, especially the official live performances. Looking forward to seeing them live for the first time at a rather small venue in Belgium in June!

Yes, same concert as the judgment Day video you watched. Hammer of Wrath is the show opener. First concert in 2 years due to restrictions and search for a new bassist. Asami opens with "We Are Back". Song is older, from the 2017 1st album, Awakening From Abyss. Lyrics by original bassist Miho, music by Miho and Mao. Miyako and Midori often play back to back solos, then unison. And Yes, some songs are thrashy, while some are more power metal, they will tell you "We Play Heavy Metal". When you come back to LOVEBITES, suggest trying a video with Miho. Recommend , from the Zepp DiverCity Tokyo 2020 concert: "Thunder Vengeance", "Holy War", "Break the Wall", or "Swan Song" (with Chopin piano intro).

Not bad for a warm up song at the start of a show eh? Their first concert in over 2 years. Absolutely astonishing. It also introduces Fami as their new bassist in a full concert format. What a treat she is to watch play. And the Smile. It must make sunshine, jealous. This is also a fitting song, as it was written by Miho the former bassist & founding member of the band along with Haruna, the drummer. The Wolfpack will always love Miho too.

I don't know any band that delivers such perfection live. For me, every new band should be guided by this. It's unbelievable that something like this is possible. If I had told you 2 years ago, this wouldn't work.

Asking Lovebites fans for 1 final song to react to is like taking a child to Willy Wonka's chocolate factory and ask he / she to pick out one item to eat. 😂 So many options to go with Swan song, A Frozen Serenade, Edge of the World...all showcase some high-quality skills by Miyako on piano. Signs of Deliverance live is probably their most epic harmonizing tapping piece, Set The World On Fire live is Big 4 / Testament level thrash with blistering solos, Thunder Vengeance live one of the most epic show openings in metal period, the list of songs and their uniqueness goes on and on. But if there is ONE Lovebites song I would want you to hear, it would without a doubt be Soldier Stands Solitarily livestream version. As noted, not a live or MV. It's the 5 of them in their respective private setting (homes) listening along with their fans to the Judgement Day full album playthrough. Really cool to see them in normal clothes, being everyday human beings. The music on the other hand...INSANE speed and intensity. The last song of the album...but of course. 🤘

This is an older song of theirs, and this was the first song of the first concert after Covid restrictions were lifted....they were very happy/excited to be back in front of an audience!! Lovebites doing Lovebites' things! Appropriate reaction to these awesome ladies!🤘

there is no doubt in my mind that the music (Rock and Metal) coming out of Japan is second to none, i'm 70 yrs old and i've seen all the classic bands several times and in my opinion they are hard pressed to stand up to these ladies for metal and Band-Maid for hard rock, the rock and metal that used to rule the U.S. did not die out it has moved to Japan

Yes, you need to hit more of these Japanese metal bands bands, I suggest Aldious, start with Monster, We are, or Sweet Temptation. Ningen Isu is another great one.

Midori, blond, began her guitar lessons when she was 20yo, Miyako, black hair, began piano when she was 3yo and at 18yo decide she wanted to play and compose metal music. She bought a guitar and some "How To" books and began learning to play the guitar. No lessons!! Fami, bass replaced the original bassist Miho, who also with Haruna, drums, founded the band. This is Fami's first major concert as the bassist, so she is being showcased!! She is a prodigy and has own YT channel since her early teens. Next- Nemophila - "Seize the Fate"

As that was the opener they were just starting to get warmed up. Imagine what the rest of the show was like. 🔥🔥🔥🔥

This is an overview of LOVEBITES 55 self-written songs and 3 covers (plus 6+1 covers by band members) with both of your reactions marked with a star (*). All these songs are great, they have no bad, weak or meh songs, and no fillers at all. Every song is special, you could randomly select a song, best life, of course, and LOVEBITES won't disappoint you. They play many different Heavy Metal styles with a certain LOVEBITES sound, they revive the masters of the 80's (and 90's) in a fresh and modern way. LOVEBITES may have the most talented musicians around, all of them S tier. Drummer Haruna is relentless like a metronome, both Miho and Fami master their bass (for Fami's capabilities, you should visit "Alien Alien" from my list, it's in her KZread channel will almost 700K subscribers), the dual guitars M&M (for Midori and Miyako) is most certainly the best duo for trading guitar solos and harmonizing, and Asami's voice is stellar with big range, powerful belt and good vibrato. She is also a trained ballerina with exceptional stage presence. One reactor caller her "Stage General", which is perfectly put. Hard, tight, fast, relentless, effortless and clean, that's LOVEBITES. Fasten your seat belt and enjoy your ride!
