Their opportunities to play outside Japan since they really blew up have been so limited by Covid. They would be surely better known by now. I hope that someone is busy planning a huge world tour based on the new album so they come back to the UK and get over to the states. Fed up of having to rely on YT to watch them. They should now be headliners not a support act at festivals all over europe.

Yes. This band is amazing. Its not even fair to have so much talent in one band. Im so proud to be a Lovebites fan. My lovrbites collection is growing, have 10 audio cds but its still growing. 【From an interview with Asami and Fami for a magazine project in Japan】 When Covid19 subsided and the audience was able to speak up, Asami thought it would be nice to have a song that everyone could sing, both on stage and in the audience. Asami wanted to use the sound of "river" in the lyrics, but thought it would be strange to use "river" as the chorus. Asami found "deliver" and thought it would be cool if everyone shouted it out instead of just telling what the word means. For many Japanese, pronouncing and hearing the English "r" and "l" is difficult. From there, Asami arrived at "stand and deliver. "Stand and deliver" is a pirate term that apparently means "Leave all your money!" Asami thought that if he wrote the lyrics as they were, it would be a song about a "pirate king. Asami wanted to avoid that. Asami learned that "deliver" can also mean "to carry out" or "to be free" in addition to "to deliver. Asami uses "Stand and deliver" with the following interpretation and meaning. Stand up and be free! Rise up and be free! Arise and be free! Let's get up and be free! From there, Asami put the following thoughts into the lyrics. Nothing satisfies me. It's boring to be like this every day! Let's go more bouncy! Let's be bold and do something different! Let's break out of our shell!

before the hiatus you might be able to name a few they wouldn't smoke, but during the hiatus they both improved significantly, and Miyako is catching up to Midori in pure speed. Now there may only be a couple others left that can touch them. This is going to be an insane ride.

I mean, Haruna is doing Philthy animal Taylor better than Philthy Animal Taylor, Miyako married Fast Eddie Clark with Kirk Hammett's wah pedal, Midori is just squealing while still looking jacked, and all Fami needs is a green light casting down on top of her while she channels her inner Lemmy. And Asami.. She's the most metal R&B singer alive.

My first distortion pedal sounded a lot like a cheaper version of the distortion on Fami's Freedom Rhino bass. Love that gritty sound she's got at the beginning.

I definitely remember Adam Ant's Stand and Deliver, Animal!

If you are not rooted to one or two sub genres and simply love heavy metal, and Lovebites aren't on the top of your favorite bands list, I'll question how much of a metalhead you are 😆.

Hope you do the entire album...it's fantastic! Pretty sure Haruna (4' 9" drummer) breaks the sound barrier in the last track Soldier Stands Solitarily. Holy Cow! Great react and appreciation for the best band in the world! 🤘

Myako played bass on this track. It was recorded before Family joined. Myako is an amazing talent. A virtuoso pianist , guitar player, bassist, ect. This band rocks hard, they're HEAVY!

I firmly believe that Miyako could play some world class Texas blues! Midori "might" only be a pure metal/rock guitarist, possibly jazz, because of her speed. There may be better guitarist, in their lane, Steve Vai, Polyphia, etc., but not in this one! Correction, Haruka from Asterism takes care of most of them, by herself! If you don't know who I'm talking about, think Steve Vai, Stevie Ray Von, Malmsteen, Eddie Van Halen, freakishly talented DNA mixed daughter. That's Haruka Noma. 20 year old protege. Don't believe me, research Asterism next. Start with their early work when she was "16"! OMG!

Asterism are awesome, even more so when you consider the age that they started performing some their repetoire. The bass player produces some great work on that 7-string as well.
