Thank you for following LOVEBITES at all times. About "Glory To The World" guitarist Midori and Vocalist Asami says of the song. When Midori came to the U.S. and between tours in the U.K., Midori found time to visit his local church many times. It was then that Midori strongly felt the power of church music and the energy of the people. When she composed and arranged "Glory To The World," Midori made it into a powerful song. In an interview for a magazine project, Midori commented, "The world is going through a difficult time right now, and I hope this song can push people back. LOVEBITES was also in a difficult situation where they could not hold live concerts, but Asami went directly to the members' homes to get hints on how to write lyrics. And Asami commented, "Member all felt that we wanted to write lyrics and songs that would be close to the feelings of various people. Asami and Midori both have experience singing gospel songs in church, so their senses matched.

This is my favorite. Fortunately、I saw their show in osaka 2021. At that time、only applause was allowed、because of corona. We clapped until our hands hurt!. We want to express our gratitude、for their great performance!. The venue has very heartwarm atmosphere. Of couse、They played Glory To The World 、very emotional version.

that live performance was held at tokyo dome city hall on march 26, 2021. in accordance with the japanese government's measures to prevent the spread of covid-19, audience was limited to less than half of the venue's capacity, were required to wear masks, and only applause was allowed. bassist miho left the band in august 2021, black-haired guitarist miyako gave birth in september, and this "heavy metal never dies" was released in october and debuted at number 1 on blu-ray in music category. on december 22, 2021, 2-disc best album “in the beginning” was released.singer asami gave birth in june 2022. after that, lovebites hold bassists audition from june to august 2022.fami, who was 19 years old and second-year university student at the time of her application, was chosen from among 280 applicants. "knockin' on heaven's gate" (dvd/blu-ray, both debuted at number 1 in music category) is the work in which fami first appeared on stage as bassist of lovebites. recorded the second day of tokyo 2days dvd/blu-ray "knockin' on heaven's gate part 2" will be released on december 20, 2023.

I don't think you need any qualifiers... they're becoming one of your favourite bands regardless of gender, nationality, or genre. We see it, we know. They're just that good.

Like many bands, they need to perform with a supportive audience to stay motivated. However, COVID-19 has deprived them of live concert opportunities. The song was released at a time when the world was suffering the most from the pandemic, and Asami (vocalist) confessed on stage at this concert with tears in her eyes that they themselves were trapped to the point where they were talking about breaking up several times. She then spoke to the members, "I'm glad we didn't break up at that time," and dedicated this song to all the fans who had supported them throughout the years.

This song is one of the most difficult to perform live. In "Knocking' At Heaven's Gate" they performed it for an encore and coped even more confidently. Everything they perform live gets better every time. So you can expect great live versions of songs even from such a complex album Judgment Day. Lovebites shows that nothing is impossible for them.

Japan has a growing culture and market for fun music that transcends gender and genre. A peaceful world where rock, jazz, and dance can be enjoyed freely😊.

born in '53 and i've seen every male and female band to come down the pike. and although there were a few good girl bands - not many great ones - and japan has had most of them in the last 15 years or so - LOVEBITES imo puts them to shame. top level in everything they do and in my top 5 bands of all time. and they may just be #1

Im 70 and an x roadie and still work stage crew locally where i live. I have heard it all from the 50`s to present, never really got into metal till i heard these Ladies. I would say that they are the tightest and most talented band I have ever heard especially live there videos are great but better live. And with Fami their new bassist puts them on another level. Miho is a great bassist also but Fami has more technics then Miho I'm not saying Miho couldn`t play that way she is just more basic. Miyako is also 4 months pregnant in this video. 🤘🐺

The first two names to learn are Midori (blonde guitarist) and Miyako (black haired guitarist, keyboards). There is no better guitar duo in heavy metal playing today IMO. When they harmonize together it brings euphoria.

@@TRMReacts62812 You can only hear the two guitars in the dual harmonies because Midori is hard-panned to the L side and Miyako is hardpanned to the R. If you play it in mono, it sounds like one guitar playing harmonies with itself.

They're not all in high heels in this performance if you look carefully. The dark haired guitarist, Miyako, eschewed her customary heels on this occasion and wore more comfortable flats. This is understandable however since she was about four to four and a half months pregnant here and competing for the global title of world's coolest mom!

So, I think we need to calm you down a bit and have you play one of their ballads. Just to save your heart and also show you another side to these women. "Epilogue" is probably the best ballad I've heard in all of my 65 years. Please take a look at that one (live).

Everybody knows how much I love, LoveBites & Nemophila, but don't sleep on Band-Maid, they have a lot of great songs and here is one of them, " From Now On. " 😏♥️🎙🎸🥁😎🤘

First time seeing this live. Of course they are just as good and many times better live. Check out the music video and run with CC on since not only the music great but the lyrics are very uplifting and inspiring. Be sure to watch video to the end. Such a crazy talent and dedication that these ladies showing to us. A lot of practise and coordinations before and behind the scene like every big band does it. But, Lovebites.. they just enjoy it. Like Fami said, she got the real feeling of being true musicians, writtings, composing, sharing idea, editing, syncronising, practice a lot, etc.. they all serious but in enjoyable, sincere manner .. i think🤔🤘👍

This band is f****** awesome - what you can count on! The singer and lyricist: Asami - Bass: (until 2021) Miho - founder of the band with Haruna (drums - the little, big engine... Co-founder of the band), bass current: Fami - the youngest in the Lovebites team. Of course we don't forget the M-Pack, guitarist of the gods Midori and guitarist, pianist and composer Miyako - all exceptional musicians - that's Lovebites!

Lovebites live are spectacular, period. There are several songs that I just feel the studio gives better emphasis to the song, and this is one of them. The others are "Judgement Day", "Stand and Deliver", " When Destinies Align", and "Winds of Transylvania". The fact they can play any of these songs live to perfection is mind blowing. I will say this. To tag them as female or Japanese is a disservice to their talent. They are simply a metal band that should be compared to the greats like Iron Maiden, Metallica, Judas Priest, Megadeth, etc etc. They are simply that good. I truly enjoy your reactions.

There comes a point where you realise the inevitable. They are the GOAT. In the three years since I was given the privilege of LOVEBITES awareness, they have accelerated the trend begun in the releases prior to my first hearing them. The EP Glory, Glory To The World was the first release after my epiphany, and the five songs were a technical jump from the Album Electric Pentagram that preceded it. Then came the hiatus, but after the waiting they gave us Judgment Day, which is the best metal album ever. So after I heard the EP, then saw this concert footage I learned that LOVEBITES compositions deliberately challenge the band. Only when they are confident that they can play it as well as intended do they commit it to record. So any LOVEBITES song released can and will be played as well, if not better than the original. There obviously has to be a technical limit to how fast and precise they can get, but that will be more than compensated by their almost ridiculous ability to compose unique melodies.

This song cuts deep into my soul.

It's funny you describe them as looking angelic in the video they film it in a church.

They will be playing their first US performance at ProgPower USA later this year. Much like Babymetal, Band-Maid and Nemophila. You have to experience them live to be fully appreciated. in case no one told you in comments yet Miyako was pregnant at the time of this show so in her case she was definitely using her legs to rest the weight of that Dean for a time Midori prolly just to look cool lol not that she needs any more coolness ;) they mainly use the risers on stage due to thier height the are all very petite Haruna the drummer is only 4'9" tall and Asami is only an inch taller

Lovebites do you ever start off in 1st gear?.....LB....what's 1st gear?, never heard of it!!!!! You want to know why many in the Wolfpack prefer LIVE, well here is your answer. The studio and MV are excellent BUT LIVE you experience this band on a whole new level even here where COVID restrictions were in place (less than 50% capacity, social distancing, no yelling, screaming, singing and clapping only allowed). Atlanta, Ga. on 9/6/2024 will likely never recover from the Lovebites explosion on stage.

Their M/V for (When Destinies Align) is totally body melting!!!!! They have a live video, but I prefer the M/V more!!!!! It is more intense, and the solos seem to be longer, IMO!!!!! For something a little mellower check out "ROLLING QUARTZ" all-female rock band out of Korea!!!!! Their newest release (Fearless)!!!!! I think you will like them!!!!! One reactor said they are hypnotic!!!!!
