To play the drums, Haruna always wear red sneakers. This video is from their two comeback shows called "we are the resurretion" in Tokyo, March 2023. Therefore the five coffins in the stage design.

In Japan, all musicians start playing music instruments at the age of 4-5 yr/o, and they can play all kind of music instruments too....

Music is an important part of education in Japan. All these women likely started on the piano and then moved on to other instruments (Haruna to drums, M&M guitar, etc..). Regardless of talent the dedication to their art and drive for perfection is a common theme. No one will ever practice more for perfection than these musicians. Many of the Japanese musicians form bands in their teens and by their 20's they have either become world class or fall out of the limelight in the uber competitive music world in Japan. These musicians are the tip of the vast talent pool that is the Japanese music scene. Rock and Metal are thriving in Japan and the rest of the world and LB are leading the way forward. Covid destroyed their earlier plans for a world tour but 2024 is going to see them crash the metal world and finally get the recognition that they deserve.

Miyako and Midori started to play the piano when they where 2-3 years old, and Miyako learned the guitar by herself when she was 18, and Midori started to play guitar when she was in College at age 20. I think Miyako is 33 years old and Midori is 35, so they both have about 15 years of experience playing guitar.

Liar is one of my favorite metal songs. If you can find Edge of the World from their Five of a Kind DVD/Blu-ray, that is one of their best performances. That song is a departure from their standard song structure and is more on the progressive, metal ballad side. A Frozen Serenade live is another must-see

If you saw Haruna (drummer) in heels - she keeps them at the back of her drum kit, for the band introductions at the end of their shows!

Next year they will be in USA. 2024 september Atlanta Prog Power metal festival.

I will not be attending any of them as it is a waste of money and because I want to see them again with a 90+ minute set in an auditorium when they toured with Dragon force , not for a handful of songs in open air setting when I saw them for the first time at Bloodstock 2018!

@@noelle3551 I guess, when they've scheduled all the festival dates, they'll fill suitable tour dates into that scheme. It's more sensible than the other way round. Rock Imperium was already moved from 19th to 22th, and you can see, that Resurrection Fest collides with with Hellfest, which makes me wonder, if they will play on 26th in Spain and on 28th in France. We don't know, what's planned behind the scenes...

Miyako (aka "The Golden Touch") is the lead guitarist/pianist on stage left, while Midori (aka "The Crazy Shredder") is the lead guitarist on stage right. The ladies will be co-headlining at ProgPower XXIII in Atlanta on Day 3, 6 September 2024 (next year), but tickets have already been sold out. Watch out for a possible US tour in conjunction with this festival.

Thanks for the warning. I duplicate my answer to you (dated February 10, 2024) under this comment. Troll 'ingop...' appeared under one of my 2 comments of that reaction (song 'Holy War', January 9) where you warned me. Most likely, your answers (like mine) are blocked due to complaints organized by the troll from his numerous fake accounts. I assume that he has 16 (this is the minimum number) fake accounts. These are only those fake accounts from which he wrote to me. Due to troll complaints, many comments are also blocked that contain information about LOVE BITES that is useful for Reactors. Over the past 2 weeks, approximately 50% of my comments have been blocked. The troll has already begun to sow discord. Real fans have become suspicious of the new LOVE BITES fans. Especially those who have recently registered their account. I know several such cases. The troll is also trying to give new fans a bad impression of the Wolf Pack. Pushing new fans away from the LOVE BITES fandom. There are cases when comments from new fans are also blocked. Especially if they start communicating with a troll. He provokes new fans (pretending to be a member of the Wolf Pack), and then organizes complaints against them.

Hi, some basics of Lovebites! Please also refer others’ sharing! I’m just a fan. 1) LOVEBITES has started in 2016 from two young females (original bassist MIHO and drummer Haruna) from their strong “BELIEF” that female can create and perform heavy metal that are dominated by males. So this is definitely NOT a band that was created by some music company who thinks female metal band is a great sell and can make money. NONO 2) Organic..They write lyrics, compose, arrange and perform. There would be NO other organic operation in the music world! 3) The lead singer ASAMI used to be a ballerina and had some R&B back singer experience.She writes most of the lyrics and does some composition. She is a very positive minded person, and that is clearly reflected on her lyrics. 4) One of the guitarists Miyako(black long hair) used to play classic piano and has started guitar when she was around 18 years old as she wanted to try other musical instrument. She composes and arranges. Her piano on stage is classic panist level, without any question. 5) The other lead guitarist Midori is a top graduate of ESP's music school. She composes and arrange.The ultimate shredder! Her dive bomb is awesome! Born rock musician 6) The new bassist Fami, 21 years old still a student, was very famous in her bass play in her high school, and has joined LOVEBITES from the last year. She also composes, but for LOVEBITES not yet. 7) The drummer Haruna is, as I mentioned, one of the founders and keeps 16 beat all across near 2 hour concert. Her play is not only tight but also looks effortlessly to fill very complicated one. 8) Backing track; Yes they use backing track ONLY for the instruments that does NOT exist on stage and is necessary. That means there is NO singing, guitar, bass nor drumming backing track. The backing track is mostly for the keyboards, sometimes recorded piano play by Miyako. 9) Japanese audiences; They love to be some part of the music in concerts and try to suport the performers on site as their good tradition, though I admit Asami is a perfect "stage general", for whom I am willingly to follow any commands from her, LOL Love LOVEBITES! Hope someone supplement or correct it! Love LOVEBITES!
