"Dude, they're good." 🤣 Their the best F metal band today and their guitar duo are off the talent chart. Keep watching and you'll see. The combined talent in this one band is insane. Asami's clean vocals and belts are the best in the genre; you won't get any harsh vocals, in case you're looking for them. And as someone commented, they are tiny in stature yet GIANTS in ability and sound they bring. They play like this 2hrs straight, Haruna (drums) is a beast at 4' 9", think about that for a second, 4' 9"! Miyako (dark-haired guitarist) nearly 5mos pregnant in this show. And they do it all - power, thrash, prog, and ballads. Again, the talent is ridiculous and wait till you see Miyako on the piano...a F virtuoso. Great reaction. 🤘

Welcome to the Wolfpack ! Haruna the drummer is an absolute machine. Midori (stage right) melt your face solos. Miyako (stage left) composes a lot of the music and is also a ridiculous pianist (see Swan Song w/ Chopin intro). Miho (bass, now replaced by Fami) unstoppable rhythm seciton. Asami, vocalist has an R&B background, and yes, is singing in English (admittedly her Japanese accent does make it a bit difficult to understand at times). Also, silly fun fact, but none of them top 5'2" tall (I think).

Gratulation to find this band, the best in Rock World. They don´t play Trash/Heavy Metal Hard Rock .... They include all genres in one song and they´re incredible good, in what they´re doing. It´s not a good girl band, it´s a great Heavy Metal band with all genres. Listen to songs like Frozen Serenade, Swan Song, Judgement Day, Soldier stand solitarily. It's English, but the accent is there and can be hard for us westerners to understand sometimes. They are Lovebites and they play heavy metal and I couldn't love it more!🤘🏻

yes they sing everything in English except the 1st version of Bravehearted on their 1st EP entitled Lovebites that version is in Japanese it was written by drummer Haruna but on their 1st full album The awakening from the Abyss they had converted Bravehearted to English.

Yes they sing in English. They are my favorite band and favorite guitar players. Have everyone of their CDs. Every song is good. And I've been listening to hard rock and heavy metal since the late 60s. These girls are the real deal

Thanks for the warning. I duplicate my answer to you (dated February 10, 2024) under this comment. Troll 'ingop...' appeared under one of my 2 comments of that reaction (song 'Holy War', January 9) where you warned me. Therefore, my answer to you may be blocked there. Most likely, your answers (like mine) are blocked due to complaints organized by the troll from his numerous fake accounts. I assume that he has 16 (this is the minimum number) fake accounts. These are only those fake accounts from which he wrote to me. Due to troll complaints, many comments are also blocked that contain information about LOVE BITES that is useful for Reactors. Over the past 2 weeks, approximately 50% of my comments have been blocked. The troll has already begun to sow discord. Real fans have become suspicious of the new LOVE BITES fans. Especially those who have recently registered their account. I know several such cases. The troll is also trying to give new fans a bad impression of the Wolf Pack. Pushing new fans away from the LOVE BITES fandom. There are cases when comments from new fans are also blocked. Especially if they start communicating with a troll. He provokes new fans (pretending to be a member of the Wolf Pack), and then organizes complaints against them.

Best thing to happen to Metal in decades. Petite women who wear their femininity proudly and in gowns and high heels destroy you LIVE. Here in a COVID venue ( 50% capacity, social distancing and no yelling or singing just clapping allowed) they still brought the house down for 2 hours. The dark hair guitarist, Miyako/Dean was 3/4 months pregnant here and still went full tilt for the 2 hour set. Pick anything from these ladies LIVE and you will never be disappointed. The vocalist sings in English albeit with a Japanese accent, not bad for a ballet dancer from a R&B/Jazz/Soul background, who never sang Metal till she joined the band which was created in 2016 by Miho/bassist. Welcome to the Wolfpack (fan base).

Congratulations, you just found the best new metal band to come along in decades- not just the best female metal band! In their first five years of existence, they put themselves on par with the greatest bands of metal’s golden age. Other reviewers have described them as alien superheroes disguised as young women, angels, princesses of metal, and angry bridesmaids. They recently went on a year-and-a half hiatus while they searched for a new bassist. They announced the new bassist in October 2022 (see below) and dropped their first new song on December 22. Their new album, “Judgement Day”, was released two months later. Some background: They were formed in 2016 from the remnants of a legendary all-girl Japanese metal band called Destrose (yes, all-girl metal has been a thing in Japan since at least 1981). Miho (bass, chief headbanger and founder of the band) had a vision of a new band in the style of the great European bands of the golden age of metal. She recruited her former bandmate Haruna (drums, 4'9" “pocket nuclear reactor”); they needed two world-class guitarists, and so they went and found Midori and Miyako, who were with other groups. They mainly do traditional forms of metal - thrash and power especially - but have a handful of ballads and metal songs that border on hard rock. In case it hasn't been mentioned, LOVEBITES was awarded Metal Hammer's "Best New Band" Golden Gods of Heavy Metal trophy (no "female" qualifier, among ALL new Metal Bands worldwide) in 2018 just prior to their performances at Wacken Open Air & Bloodstock Open Air festivals. At Bloodstock, they were chosen from all bands in attendance to fill the main-stage spot left open by Suicidal Tendencies due to late plane arrival. This 'last minute' opportunity unfortunately resulted in less than ideal 'FOH & monitor-mix' & camera work, but their performance is excellent. No bad song in their arsenal of songs. This concert had COVID restriction on the crowd, but I think the band's stage performance was better than 2020. The 2020 Concert. Five of a Kind, the crowd was into it so the whole vibe was great. The new album, Judgement Day, with the new Bassist is even better in my opinion. There is a song for everyone on that album. Thanks for the great reaction video! I love seeing how people are surprised, excited, and fascinated when they see Lovebites for the first time. I'm not a hardcore metalhead. I love rock in general. I'm not attracted to black leather and studs, long hair and beards, angry faces. The music of Lovebites is definitely Heavy Metal, but their looks and lyrics are far from the stereotypes. That's one of the reasons why I love this band. Every song of Lovebites is sure to blow you away.I look forward to the next reaction to Lovebites.

You leave Lars alone. LOL. You know the drummer is about 4'9" yes, they are singing in English. It's just her accent is tough to understand. Their last album that came out a few months ago, I heard she worked on that and she is easier to understand on it. Also, some other of the earlier stuff you can understand her better.

They decided to wear white as they all petite ladies. White reflects light making them standout on the normally dark metal stage. Midori, ponytail, began guitar lessons when she was 20 yo, Miyako, black hair, starting piano at 3 yo, and picking up the guitar at 18 yo to play metal music. Miyako is self taught!! Yes Asami is singing in English, but with a Japanese accent! Asami is the primary lyricist, so she singing her own words. There are 200+ Rock/Metal bands in Japan with about half all female. You got some catching up to do.

Nemophila is another Jmetal band, They are a bit more modern Metal /.Nu metal

They're definitely one of my favorite metal bands. I love the contrast of such fast, heavy music being played by disney princesses. When Destinies Align is another favorite song of theirs I love.

LOVEBITES was formed in 2016 by Miho(Ba) and Haruna(Dr), members of the band "DESTROSE", which went on hiatus in 2015. The girls made their major label debut in 2017 (March 24) with "THE LOVEBITES EP". On 18 June 2018, LOVEBITES won 'BEST NEW BAND' at the Metal Hummer Golden Gods 2018 awards organised by the British metal magazine METAL HUMMER. On 4 August, LOVEBITES performed on the W.E.T stage at WACKEN OPEN AIR 2018, one of the world's largest annual metal festivals in Germany, with the 10,000 capacity venue almost full. LB is, in my humble opinion, the gold standard of metal music today. As you heard, their talent is off the charts insane. As you dive deeper into their music, you will find there are many levels to their sound. You will hear styles from heavy to power to thrash metal and everything in between. I've been a fan for about 3 years now and I cannot get enough of them.

Welcome to the Wolfpack! (the name for the Lovebites fans :D) - Glad to see you fully enjoying the best metal band on the planet. It's great to see more people discovering our ladies! I encourage you to check out some of their live performances too - in my decades of metal fandom, I've never heard cleaner sound out of a band live. Also, they while they usually wear the white gowns that are their usual "Battle Uniforms", one of their newest songs "Stand and Deliver" is one of the few MVs they have done in casual clothes. Some data on the band: The lead singer (Asami) is the group goofball, and is known as "The One and Only Voice" - and metal is a new genre for her vocally. She does a lot of writing, also. Haruna is the drummer - called "The Little Engine" - because she just crushes the drum parts and rhythm section on every song, and she is completely indefatiguable! Miyako is our right side guitarist who also does all the background synth and piano work. In addition, she also writes and does everything with that calm, cool professionalism. :) She is called "The Golden Touch" for a reason - everything she touches turns gold. Midori is the blonde guitarist with the amazing hair on the left side, and she is "The Crazy Shredder" - because, well, it is what it says. She's insanely good and aggressive shredder. She also performs in bodybuilding competitions. :) On bass you have Miho - one of the founders of the band (she formed the band with Haruna) - a really good bassist who stepped down from her role just a couple years ago - if you check out their latest album, you will meet their current bass player, the amazingly talented Fami - who doesn't have a nickname yet - but she really has injected even more energy and passion into the group. Fun fact: Fami is the tallest member of the band, at 5'2" tall. :) Recommended further listening: Music Videos: Stand and Deliver (Shoot 'em Down) - more thrash. Judgement Day Nameless Warrior Live Videos: Swan Song (with Chopin Intro) - shows a lot of range - including classical influences, which includes Miyako on piano. Spellbound - for that 80's euro-metal vibe. We the United - for just a great all around show-ender.
