I think it's going to be a few years before an international tour. With Miyako just having a kid it will take some time for them to be free to travel again.

I think that is the TRUE Power of Lovebites. These Lone Wolves are unabashedly Feminine - and their Lyrics reflect it. Male Metal writers are writing for their music to be 'cool' - Lovebites writes for their music to be beautiful. They are Ultra Successful at that - and I think it is pretty f-ing cool. JMHO 🙂 🐺

Miyako is a professional pianist who started playing the piano at the age of three and wanted to make a career in classical music. But at the age of eighteen she picked up the guitar for the first time and ........... 🤗Asami started with R&B and soul music . She studied classical ballet for about 16 years (this is noticeable in her movements on stage, especially the movements of her hands). Started ballet lessons at the age of two.After school, she moved to the USA to study jazz and hip-hop dance. Plays the piano🐺

The "Empty Daydream" song has the feel of Michael Jackson's "Beat It". The song was performed at the time by JENNIFER BATTEN, one of Miyako's top 5 favorite guitar heroes. I was of the same opinion as you until I listened to the following, which was pointed out in other reaction content on LOVEBITES. Released in 1979. Reo Speedwagon "Back On The Road Again"(KZread channel "JoseCotdino" However, in the case of LOVEBITES "Empty Daydream," as Miyako later stated, the composition was influenced by Michael Jackson's "Beat It (released in 1982)" performed by JENNIFER BATTEN. Your reactions are very good and I hope you will continue to LOVEBITES.

Yeah that riff is a Van Halen riff and many will tell you that it is very similar to Michael Jackson's beat it which was a collaboration with Eddie Van Halen, and if you go back to 1978 and 1979 on Van Halen's 1 & 2 there you will here that riff. Wait, What? did you really just call Miho Misa bwhahahaha. Yes Miho is the lower even with her days with Destrose she was a backup singer and was much lower, and yes Miyako is the higher one, call and respond is both Miho and Miyako and the harmonies is Miyako. I will tell you like I tell all of the other reactors that I like if you have bought any of their EP's and Albums I strongly urge you to do because that is the stronger support you and anyone can give these amazing ladies.

Thanks, Sal! After listening again, it was Beat It that I was thinking of at the time. EVH had some awesome riffs for sure. Saw him in concert 4 times. RIP. Yeah Yeah Yeah, when I realized I said Misa, I was like CRAP, if I don't correct myself right now I'll forget and since I don't edit out mistakes or do any retakes, it just had to stay in there for everyone to see. LOL

It's Funny you got Journey sound out of it My thoughts went directly to They sounded like Vixen here. They also have the backup of not just Miho and Miyako but Midori also backs on Burden of Time and Miyako at one point in the song plays the Piano and Guitar at the same time. I had wondered why Midori didn't also back up on this song as she did on Burden of Time.

Believe me, I'm subscribed to them. The only problem I've run into with that particular concert, is that it each video I post from that concert eventually gets blocked in Japan. Still working with things to come up with a solution!

At first I thought Miho had the high because on those verses it would pan to her and the other it would pan to Miyako but I hear Miyako is an awesome singer and could very well lead sing if there wasn't one

The guitar riff is a take on Michael Jackson's "Beat It." Miyako is a big fan of Jackson's old guitarist, Jennifer Batten. Miyako has posted herself playing "Beat It" and playing an all-piano version of "Empty Daydream" on her Instagram. I've gathered a few of her clips into a pair of videos on my channel. Thanks! I guess in my mind, and this may make people angry, but I consider Alicia Keyes to be Pop music even though I know that technically she's R&B. I've always associated R&B with singers like Aretha Franklin, Diana Ross, etc.

Yeah, I tend to use R&B and Pop interchangeably because here in the states, at least, unless it's older stuff, a lot is classified the same for modern music, though I definitely understand there is a difference and agree, it's more on the R&B side. Thanks!
