this whole album/dvd is fantastic. Also has my favorite version of Shadowmaker. This is hands down my fave take on Eagle Fly Free.

They turned me on to this song and I love Miho and Haruna's solos. Wish there were more of that.

lovebites will be the first and last all-female band to cover "eagle fly free".

The most interesting part of this video/song is Miho on bass. She does things you rarely see/hear from her. Wish they did more like this. Maybe they will with Fami.

Many people say that this performance is better than the original. I have the same impression. Of course, this is due to their high ability. Haruna, the drummer, is a Helloween fan. Note that the live streaming took place in one of the three recording studios at Victor Entertainment's headquarters.

This cover went as well as it could, that’s for sure. I found this band like a day or two after this concert, Awake Again, ended its limited production run. Fortunately someone uploaded it to KZread and I was able to record it before it was taken down, but it’s a great show and well worth a watch if you can find it.

It was the last song they performed and played while live streaming a concert for fans during lock down because of covid as far as I know.. Thanks for reacting to it. The Abyss is/was practice studio I think, This is the only time they performed this song 🤘🎹🔥🎸🥁🎤🐺 Was actually on early set lists which I wasn't aware of.

Thanks for circling back to catch this version of the song....my personal favorite! We're used to the awesome lead guitarists and Asami getting spotlight, but really cool to have Miho and Haruna showcasing their amazing skills as well....I'd love to see bass and drums get more of that going forward! It was a live streamed concert on christmas 2020 at the time when they could not perform. It was named "Awake Again - Live from Abyss" because the Abyss is how they call their studio. For that reason their first album is also called Awakening from the Abyss (2017). The Stand and Deliver MV is also recorded there.

Haruna's favorite band (after Lovebites of course). This song is a showcase for bass and drums, and they just nail it. I give the edge to Lovebites over the original. Thanks for completing the cycle!

This is at least as good as the original. I personally think this is superior to the original. All the girls are impeccable here, sheer perfection. Haruna is a big Helloween fan,,so this is probably her choice of a cover. Incredible performance.

Yeah, we like it. It's our favorite cover of this song. Same thing with "Painkiller". Lovebites does it the best. I really want to see Lovebites cover OZZY "Bark At The Moon" next. I think that would be amazing.

Lovebites covers of "Eagle Fly Free" and "Pain Killer" are both, in my opinion, are at least as good as the original, if not better. I feel the latter as I consider Lovebites versions perfectly modernized. More so, I feel across the board, Lovebites are just sinply better.

The original vocals in both songs are better in my opinion but instrumentally Lovebites is equal or better. Asami still did an amazing job but she isn't quite at the level of Kiske and Halford if we are being honest, especially Halford.
