Charles Haddon (C.H.) Spurgeon (June 19, 1834 January 31, 1892) was a British Reformed Baptist preacher who remains highly influential among Christians of different denominations, among whom he is still known as the "Prince of Preachers." In his lifetime, Spurgeon preached to around 10,000,000 people, often up to 10 times a week at different places. His sermons have been translated into many languages. Spurgeon was the pastor of the New Park Street Chapel in London for 38 years. In 1857, he started a charity organization called Spurgeon's which now works globally. He also founded Spurgeon's College, which was named after him after his death.
Spurgeon was a prolific author of many types of works including sermons, an autobiography, a commentary, books on prayer, a devotional, a magazine, and more. Many sermons were transcribed as he spoke and were translated into many languages during his lifetime. Arguably, no other author, Christian or otherwise, has more material in print than C.H. Spurgeon.

Beautiful and convicting sermon! Listening in 2020 amidst COVID-19. How little did Charles know how his words would bless me and other after he first preached it. God is good! Praise the Lord!

Yes, thankfully we have a God Who's Word is always and forever true. Otherwise, we would have no hope except to 'live for today, for tomorrow we may die' --empty and without any purpose and hope. We all remember what that was like and where it took us. Jesus only, in the entire course of all human history, came to seek and save the lost. We are blessed beyond our imaginations.

What if your Rabbi decides to grow, process, sell, give marijuana to make money? Do I stay away from or sing Kumbaya with him and his entire corrupt family? I had three brothers who died due to drug related deaths. I no longer consider him my Rabbi and his wife is in leadership by default. Why isn't this covered? Answers....anybody?

I can resonate as well, might not be in the same level but most likely under drunkard family. Praise God, my Lord made a way of escape for myself to pursue His Truth. I’ve learned with the help of my Almighty God in my painful journey to continue to focus my to the Lord no matter what hurdle that comes my way in this life, and let God be the Judge because we are All accountable of our own actions. May our Sovereign God grant you an awareness of understanding, guidance and peace to overshadow your situation.🙏♥️God bless you beyond measure!💐
