このイベント会場で、nujabesを生で感じれた人達がただただ羨ましい。夕陽と景色に絶妙にマッチする音楽が、空間全体を包み込んでいってる。 CDでは味わえない体験だよね。見てて涙が出てくる。私が知ったのは6年前だったけど、もっと前に知れていればと強く強く思います。

The song is comes from the Stanley Kubrick movie "Spartacus" starring with Kirk Douglas in the lead role. The soundtrack was written by Alex North. The first time I heard the melody many years ago was in a version of Carlos Santana and I always thought that would be the original. Only later I realized that the music originated in the old Hollywood movie of 1960. There are very nice jazz versions on KZread, but I find the magic of the melody comes best in slow and peaceful interpretations.
