Is that for paid attendance only? Because Simon and Garfunkel dwarfed that number with an estimated 500,000 plus at their Central Park concert in 1981. And Garth Brooks nearly doubled that with close to a million people in 1997. All concerts in Central Park of course are free and there's virtually no limit to how many people can get into that wide open field

It was used in a Pepsi commercial as promo for her Foreign Affair: The Farewell Tour (sponsored by Pepsi). The single is also an iconic anthem for the National Rugby League in Australia. One of The Biggest Songs of The 80's , and her go to song , Huge Huge and that Saxophone solo kills it 👏 👌 for more Saxophone try Hazell O'connor "Will You" 🎷

You know a performer is world class when they just keep getting better with age. One of the best performances of all time is her live at Wembley stadium performing Proud Mary in the 1980s. Absolute magic & so much better than when she performed it on the 1970s.

FINALLY!!!! MORE TINA!!!!THANK YOU!!!😂 For a faster high energy studio vid I suggest "What You Get is What You See" which is also her most successful Country-ish vid, and "Steamy Windows" for ultra-sultry with a driving beat, but to truly tap Tina's energy and appeal you've got to catch her live, post-Ike work as she truly blossomed. That's Edgar Winter providing the great sax in the vid, though Tim Cappello was her regular Sax man who toured with her for years and was always popular with the crowds. You can see Tim with her in the vid for "One of the Living", and if you ever watch the film "The Lost Boys" he is the memorable beach concert sax player who sings "I Still Believe".

The sax was added in replace of the guitar in the original version sung by Bonnie Tyler as per Tina's request!!😍🥰🥰🥰🥰 On top of it all Tina always did all her own wigs Just like Dolly Parton has always done!!!

I have been listening to Tina Turner since she and her husband Ike were together. It’s great to see a younger generation find older music and the appreciation for the vocal and instrumental skill of the older generation. Thank you for your reactions and keeping great music alive for generations to come!

Ike was credited on " River Deep , Mountain High " released in 1966 - but only Tina performed on the record. It is one of the best records ever made , and I live in hope that you will someday react to it. . Simply The Best was so over requested that many radio stations refuse to play it - every Joe Bloggs thought it was a suitable tribute to his nearest and dearest.

Nice! You really can't go wrong with Tina Turner. Whenever I hear Tina Turner I remember when my dad borrowed my car and had a group of Christians in it and in the tape deck was Tina Turner's greatest hits. I was a teenager at the time and he was upset when "Steamy Windows" came up. I told him he didn't have to listen to the tape and could have taken it out. Thankfully he they didn't hear "Private Dancer". I also reminded him that he actually bought the CD for me. I still love listening to Tina! Definitely one of the best!
