I think this is an excellent way to cook pork chops!😍 I can no longer stand at the stove and cook things like this and have come up with several different ways to complete the task. I also like to cook pork steaks as they are still flavorful with the bone in and they are very tender!😘 I also like to cook pork in the crockpot! I've made them with a creamy sauce with mushrooms and they were a delight!😚 Pork tenderloin cooks nicely in the oven! And you can flavor it in many ways! I also cook bacon in the oven, it's the best way to cook it and there's no standing! Even ham does well in the oven! This is the best way to cook any part of the pig! 🐷 Thanks for sharing another great recipe!🥰

I have tried to cut back on fried foods myself since having to have emergency surgery in November 2022 to have my gallbladder removed. It was pretty ruff and like mush from what the doctor said when he took it out.

I do pork chops in the oven all the time! You don’t have all that splatter on the stove from pan-frying too!

I have found out over the decades that "Bone-In" Pork-Chops ALWAYS turn out more tender than the Boneless. Definitely the Bone-In Pork-Chops are what i always try to find

The bone in is always best because that bone gives more flavor to whatever meats are being used.Looks delicious 🤍

I had to change the recipe slightly because I didn't have buttermilk, so I took whole milk and added a splash of apple cider vinegar to it. It was so delicious! I've never had pork chops that good. The only thing I would do different next time is turn them over halfway through cooking because they did get a little too done on the bottom side. Thank you for sharing this recipe, I just absolutely loved it and even my 17 year old grandson loved it. He said he really liked the pork chops. I served them with Rice-A-Roni broccoli, and I added some broccoli to it for extra nutrition and it was delicious as well. It was a very good pairing.

The pork chops look amazing. I love to use buttermilk on my chicken, cube steak and pork chops then use self rising flour and the crust is so good. There is nothing better than bone-in meat. I don't know it just tastes better. I am going to have to try this, sounds so good. Thank you, Paula for an amazing recipe.

Paula, I love that we both have an Aunt Peggy. Mine is a wonderful cook and is the heart of our big family. I love that you get to cook for yours and I’m sure she will be delighted to have these pork chops. ❤

Try apples with your porkchops n biscuit, its one of my favorite meals! Cut 4-6 apples in thick slices (after peeling them lol), put them in a pot with enough water to just cover the slices. Bring them to a boil, turn down the mixture and cook on medium to medium low heat with a lid. I always add sugar and real butter to mine. This part is per your own taste. Cook your apples until they're soft, but with pieces of the apples still in chunks.( not like applesauce )
