Love (1923) | A Poem by Khalil Gibran

Narrated by Daniel "Avi" Avinash
In this poem, Khalil Gibran powerfully describes love as being both "crowning" and "crucifying" at the same time. They are both equal in importance yet opposite in nature. We are totally free to accept one and reject the other but only to our very own detriment, and quite arguably, our destruction. He asserts that we must embrace both if we plan to grow and mature.
THE PROPHET
This poem "Love" is the second of 26 prose poetry fables from the seminal book, "The Prophet". In this book, poet Khalil Gibran talks about a fictional prophet Al Mustafa who had been waiting twelve years in the city of Orphalese for his ship that was to return and take him back to the isle of his birth. He is then stopped by a group of people, with whom he discusses topics about life and the human condition.
Facts about "The Prophet":
1) Translated into more than 100 languages making it one of the most translated books in history
2) Has never been out of print
3) Amongst the best selling books of all time - after The Bible and Shakespeare's collections.

If to the question "do you need a tray for the coffee" the answer is "i don't" when the tray is needed or "i do" when is not then he or she is lying wanting victimhood. Addicts engage in reckless or dangerous behavior that make us victims, unhappy. Are atheists happy asking the nonsensical question "who created God?". If it is explained why God is eternal what is the point of asking who created what is not created? if not to muddle the debate to the absurd in bad faith. How can be possible if it wasn't intentional? A contradiction is an impossibility and a miracle is an impossibility that God makes possible, an act of God. What for me is the most nonsensical question of all eternal Time, irrationallity level God, is encouraged or liked. Atheism is a lie that looks like a lie and i am trying to end religion with the first unique unambiguous theory on God based on logic and rational thinking ever written in social media. I hope my truth is understood and the most severe and devastating censorship in history in a social media era for many years ends. What would be a reasonable response to the claim that i have discovered the nature of addiction, God and money and i can prove it? A rational reply could be “How are you going to prove God’s existence? ” or “Would you like tea or coffee, some biscuits perhaps? I would like you to feel comfortable. So you are a psychologist, economist and recovering addict and you claim to have discovered the nature of addiction, God and money, and you can prove it! Amazing! What do you need to prove what would be the greatest achievements of all time? What would be the benefits of the discoveries?”. I can prove God’s existence fulfilling humanity’s dream ending atheism and religion to end the war saving your innocent children’s lives. Unfortunately I can't do religious miracles and I need my knowledge to be tolerated. I want my truth shared and challenged because it is the truth that stands victorious against the lie. You can prove it if you want to.

Sure, I can challange your truth! Truely! Becaue my truth is true! Anyway, "If to the question "do you need a tray for the coffee" the answer is "i don't" when the tray is needed or "i do" when [{(it)}] is not then he or she is lying wanting victimhood." WRONG!!! Let me explain; He or she is lying wanting a coffee tray! Therefore thusly indeed, are you thoroughly wrong... dare I say ... LYING!!! I have proved your own 'Truth' to be LIES!!! (lol) - DARE THOU CHALLENGE THE VERACITY OF THY CLAIMS!

@@aztekpriest6311 I want to teach the atheist logical fallacy to humanity for free. I am a teacher and the greatest achievement of all time is addiction recovery. What do I mean? You have to understand to save your life. For your beautiful, innocent and vulnerable children. Is there anything else more precious? I am a good person who lives for God by God doing what is right regardless of law. Did i say enough to make you trust me? I am a psychologist and you are deceived with disastrous eternal consequences. All lives are eternal with perfect hell and heaven with perfect knowledge because God, oneself, can not be deceived. I am exhausted to death and to end the war in Ukraine the discovery that atheism is a logical fallacy has to be news. I am losing all hope. Atheism is a logical fallacy that assumes God is the religious idea of the creator of the creation to conclude wrongly no creator exists because a particular idea of God doesn’t exist. I need to change my life.
