Would this work with the elgato wave mic software?

Great video! I just ordered one. This will be my first deck of any brand. It will be great for editing in premiere and I like how this particular board has knobs. I’m very impressed on how much you can customize this and I can’t wait to get my hands on it!

Do you have any plans on making a mini version of the loupedeck live? I would love to see a version with like 2 or 3 dials (Spotify, Game/Windows audio) and 9 buttons?

At the moment, unfortunately no. We are restricted by the way Windows handles the volume mixer system. Therefore, for the time being, we are unable to assign them to separate dials and the different volumes will be automatically assigned in the order they appear in the Volume Mixer. If you have more than six audio sources active, you can swipe up and down on the touch bars to navigate the dial pages.

there's a lot of talk about this device being unable to control spotify/desktop audio levels while in a different application (ie lightroom/Inside a game) and the loupedeck controls ONLY work when the application is the selected open window. can the loupe deck control spotify audio, in game audio, desktop audio, discord audio all while another application is the active window? if not..this device is a bit ... useless? because whats the point of alt-tab to select streamlabs obs before using the loupedeck to control audio levels can i assign audio channels on the knobs and be inside a game and adjust those levels while in game? please answer, im ready to make a purchase if you can solve this rumour thanks

Hey, thanks for your question! Currently, you can control three kinds of audio with you Loupedeck, no matter which application you are in: Windows System volume, Spotify volume, and individual mixer items in Streamlabs/OBS studio. During a live stream, you can adjust the volume of all your mixer items regardless of open window, so of course you won't have to alt-tab out of the game. That is indeed the point. ;) We are also looking into making system audio controllable individually in the future.

@@Loupedeck you sent a loupedeck live to this youtuber and he made a review posted on sept 23 kzread.info/dash/bejne/nIyBtbywlc6yddI.html he expresses the same concern i have - in his detailed analysis he showed that while his app is open ie photoshop he cannot control spotify etc - he demonstrates that he has to click on windows explorer window to control his desktop system volume he is exposing a problem and its preventing me from buying the product - would love clarification

Hi! Can we adjust windows volume mixer with the knobs, or are we limited to adjust system sound as a whole? I need to be able to adjust sound of app independently, and 6 knobs seems perfect if I can assign them to individual app in volume mixer!

I am very intrigued by this product, but I am a StreamDeck XL user. I can see use for both simultaneously. What would happen if both products were plugged in for use? I'm assuming nothing adverse, but can you confirm?

So I’m thinking of buying this but had a non streaming question on functionality. I use a stream deck for other functions by creating shortcuts to control my smart lights and RGB, safari and iMovie editing as well as zoom conferencing shortcuts. Can I do the same on this device?

Can you make a video on on to map applications? I just got my loupedeck and I can't adjust my mic with the nobs or put any actions on OBS to the loupedeck. Can you please do a detailed demo of this?

Within the Loupedeck Software go to Custom Actions --> New --> and the select the action/application --> Run (So you want to create an action that runs a specific application). So far we support Streamlabs and OBS Studio with native integrations, but we are looking to expand the functionality in the future! We're definitely looking into OBS.live as well.

Really interesting! Can I remote control a camera with it? I‘d like to zoom in and out with the turning knobs for instance. Thank you.

Hi Stefan, thank you for your question. If you have a software which lets you zoom in and out on a remote camera via keyboard shortcuts or mouse actions, you can map those to a dial on the Loupedeck CT or Live.

Does the Live support Capture One like the CT does? The price point of the Live is great for wanting to do streaming and photo editing, but I don't use the Adobe suite.

Hey! We are working on a big update to our software that will also bring more live-streaming support and more to the Loupedeck CT! Expect it at the end of September. :)

Im using the Default Photoshop profile 4.2.5. Every time i use a dial in Camera Raw to change any value, the image gets resized to 100% first while the value gets changed. No matter which function is assigned to the dial or which dial i use. Is there a way to turn this off so i can see the whole image while i change brightness/temperature/...?

Currently it is not possible to assign presets to Loupedeck’s buttons. You can, however, assign certain transitions to the buttons, such as Crossfade, Wipe and the set default transition.

Hello, i was considering purchasing this to enhance my workflow. I work as a video game developer and in the video/streaming work space. I wanted to know if this would work with programs such as Unreal Engine, Photoshop, Blender, OBS? Thanks

Hey Miguel, we currently do not have a native (api) based plugin for Affinity Photo, but you can build set up Live to work with any software you want, you just need to create your own Custom Profile. We are currently working on a platform that will allow you to be able to build and share custom profiles with the Loupedeck community.

hi.. this work as another controller? or it has mapping same like keyboard? so for example on touch screen i setup button like M on keyboard so instead pressing keyboard i use deck? or it will show own controller setting for example like steering wheel has buttion1 button2 axisX etc ?..... thanks for info..... also is possible to setup controlling audio/mic in streamlabs and with other knob can i controll windows speaker/headphone audio or it can be used only for one app in time? ... i would liek to buy streamdeck elgato XL but now i found your product...i like knobs where i can control level of audio/mic etc.... also im little afraid of touch screen.. i have big fingers (arround 2cm wide finger) ..will be this ok to touch buttons on screen easily if i need it to do it fast during my gaming? :D .... lots of questions... best is to get one for test :D ... for me its not low money..so i want to know info and think for best solution....

Hi Jan, you can assign keyboard shortcuts to our consoles, but we also have native plugins available for creative and streaming software. You can check out the list for each console on the corresponding product page: loupedeck.com/products/. You can use the dials to control individual audio and mic sources via the Windows Volume Mixer. We don't have a native integration for KZread Live streaming. However, with Loupedeck CT and Live you can create a custom profile for any application and map keyboard shortcuts and mouse actions to the console.

Im using sling studio to live stream events ,can I use this device with slingstudio (Switch between Multi-cams add graphics etc..) ?

We don't have a native integration with SlingStudio, but you can use Loupedeck CT and Live with any application by creating a custom profile, where you map keyboard shortcut and mouse commands to the console. The amount of functionality this offers depends on the keyboard shortcut commands available in the target software.

Will this work with MacOS Big Sur? I’ve got another editing controller that stopped working with the new Big Sur update 🤦🏻‍♂️

The scenes are automatically imported from Streamlabs. If they don't show up in the configurator, make sure Streamlabs is running and then restart the Loupedeck software.

Is the Loupedeck Live compatible with Davinci Resolve? I'm looking to get one, but do not want to be disappointed if it does not work in Resolve which is my editing software

Unfortunately we don't have access to Resolve's API to create a native integration.

You can check if you're able to do this with any keyboard shortcuts within Resolve. Anything can be mapped to the console that has a keyboard shortcut, and there are also mouse actions available in our software. So at you could for example hover over any slider with your mouse, and use a Dial to "drag horizontally". We offer a custom profile for Davinci Resolve that uses the numerous available keyboard shortcuts to help you speed up your work. Unfortunately we will only be able to support color grading in Davinci Resolve when we get access to the API.

I cant fix my viewer count. I'm streaming on twitch and I have a few viewers but this damn thing always shows 0 Viewers. how do you fix that?

Hey! We've heard the feedback and decided that the Loupedeck Live will now come with all the plugins that are currently available included!

An deutsche Loupdeck- Besitzer wird nicht gedacht. Alle Komentare und Erklärungen sind in Englisch schwierig für Leute die der Sprache nicht so mächtig sind. Ich habe mich beim Kauf des immerhin sehr teuren Loupedeck hinreißen lassen. Die Menüführung und auch die einzelnen Buttons zB. Für Lightroom oder Photoshop in Englisch. Versprochen wurde das die deutsche Programierung zumindestens der oben genannten Anwendungen bis spätestens Sommer 2020 per Update nachgereicht wird. Für mich bis jetzt eine Enttäuschung. In Deutschland wuerden weit mehr das Loupdeck ct benutzen wenn die Menüführung auch in der Landesprache wäre. Sehr schade... was nicht ist kann ja noch werden. Dann nämlich gibt es 3 Daumen nach oben😉. Toll wäre auch mal in deutscher Sprache ( gibt nur sehr wenige) erklärende Videos auf KZread zu sehen.

Nice but what about something like - eg Alt+Shift+C = Created a new Class.cs file in Visual Studio. Your software will not let me do this. Your Macro is limited if I am right in saying it can grab things like key board press, but what if I need the above. Hold Alt+Shift and then with these press then press C. This is a high on my list of MUST HAVE and I am sure I am not alone.

Hi! You should be able to create that shortcut in the Loupedeck app. We tested this out and it seems to work normally. Is the issue for you creating the shortcut in the Loupedeck app, or that it doesn't do what it's supposed to when using Visual Studio? By default, Alt+Shift+C seems to be a different command than creating a new Class.cs file, so please make sure the keyboard shortcut is set up correctly in Visual Studio.

I get why they made this.. but the louoedeck ct is not a finished product.. I'm fortunate that I got mine for free so to Amazon's fuck up but that's another long story.. louoedeck has sooooo much potential over other companies in this field.. I really hope in the future that there will be updates to firmware and software cause I love my C.T and I'm literally just getting into streaming and now you guys support stream labs... I feel like I was meant to do this hahaha but for real guys this product is not premium YET... It should have a hefty price tag

I mean ... i get it. But honestly its not groundbreaking and like all loupe products its expensive. When 90% of streamers are using a C920 for their main camera theyre probably gonna hit up the 6 button elgato offering.

Why wouldn't you use the Live if you are using a standard webcam? You can trigger audio sources, scenes etc with the Live as well. It is not only for (de-)activating the camera... oO

@@liamtaylor6659 I get your drift but the Live actually offers a lot more e.g. the knobs that can also be pressed. In terms of audio sources it much more valuable than the Streamdeck. Maybe this is purchase clinching in the end thouh the Live is more expensive than the smaller Streamdecks

@@iKarlito I also understand your point of view however I would assume if someone is gonna drop money on this then you would most likely be using a stand alone audio device/ mixer for optimum quality, many of which have features exceeding what appears to be possible by the 'live' which sort of renders them moot. However having said that, given the amount of people in the world im sure it will find a niche of people for whom it is entirely appropriate. Both the streamdeck and live have the same issue though you could get 90% of their functionality using a £30 macro pad with rotary encoders.

We also offer API-based plugins in addition to macro functionality, which means that you can control audio levels while Streamlabs is in the background, just to give an example.

PROFESSIONAL Streamer for nearly 20 years? Who are you kidding mate. KZread streaming didn't exist until 2011.

DO NOT buy this... I bought it, followed the instructions, have been wrestling with it for hours.. it just doesn't work.. the buttons dont do what they are supposed to.. it feels like an alpha test unit.. for this price they should be ashamed... customer service said its going to be days for them to get back to me with what I expect to be a canned email. No support number, no troubleshooting info... just don't do it

@@Loupedeck they got back to me after 3 days... got an email that is a copy and paste of your website instructions which I had said in my original message I followed multiple times. it has now been 3 more days and I haven't heard a response to me telling them that.. item was returned today, this project is a huge miss, but could have been great. spend more on making it actually work please, over marketing and visuals. beautiful packaging holding a useless product.

thanks man, wanted to like it so much. i´ll go with streamdeck and i have additional midi controller plus voice meeter. awesome audio control possibilities. some of the amazon reviews are devastating. to risky to buy it now. i´ll wait.

That microphone placement is not very professional :P
