A lot of people making douche-bag coments about her looks. She was 30 in 1996, and 44 in this video from 2011, seriously, who looks the same 14 years later? She looks healthy and great and exactly how you'd expect her to look, or better even. It seems a lot of people are very naive about the ageing process and the effects of makeup, etc. I would bet if she died her hair and wore the same clothes and make up as she did in the mid 90s, she would actually look very similar.

Saw Sleeper support the Manics at the Newcastle Uni gig of the Holy Bible tour and they were great (even sent off for the Bucket and Spade EP). Louise became a bit of a crush of mine then and I think she still looks lovely in this.

No, in the first place, she's not so ugly as a few people here keep saying. But (and let's be honest) it's unbelieveble how she has changed over the years. She's pretty different, got older in a too odd ratio. Only because the age? The children she had over the last 15 years? I don't know, but It's doesn't matter, she still has her charm as the old days, like in mid 90's.

@EnglishChannel1 they were a shockling bad live band - that said I would suggest "inbetweener" was one of the truly great songs in the Britpop era and the it girl was a lost gem of an album.

But I miss that cool visual she had when she was 32...Those short "black and blonde" hair, green eyes, sexy shoulders and that beautiful smile! Well, despite of all, it'd be great to see Sleeper again in the music scene!

@jesustonight "Goodnight Steve McQueen" is great fun. If some TV or film producer wants to make a film that captures the Britpop years they should snap up the rights. I guess there's more money in "Chicklit" - which is a pity because Louise was always one of the lads and writes male characters brilliantly.
