So glad I came across your review. I always thought this bag was very masculine but I love the size (my bosphore is cute but just too small lol). Nice to see a girl reviewing this bag. Makes me think I might be able to pull it off. LOL!

The backpack is made of canvas, so it's super durable compared to leather and won't crease, but obviously, it won't be super soft to the touch.

So beautiful! I bought and own a pre-owned Monogram Palk. But I'd love to have this one too!!!!

Hey I love it, I'm getting one of this soon! It's actually designed for hiking, tourism, theme parks, and it's waterproof. I live in Orlando and I'm Annual Passholder from Walt Disney World, so it's perfect for the Mickey mitt, pin trading purse, sodas, etc. I can tell about this backpack very much because I had a long talk with an associate at the boutique of Millenia here in Orlando before thinking of one. I was told all mens bags are made in france. Im looking in to getting this one but with the yellow or red piping edges? i dont remember what its called but the rubber protecting the exposed edges of the leather.

Joel ARTPOP the glazing is what deals the edges of the vinyl, the piping is what's I between pieces on bags like speedys and keepalls etc... (Most common ones at least) and is usually vachetta leather or black etc...to match the bag

hey nice video! im deciding between this and the michael backpack both in damier graphite. do you think this bag having no zipper us inconvenient for you? and which one do you think i should get? personally i think christopher looks better but michael seems easier to use

Hey, I just came back from abroad and it was inconvenient at first but I got use to it. The side pockets are definitely handy. I had stored my cellphone, camera, sunglasses and snacks in them. I prefer the Christopher over the Michael because it is structured. If you carry a laptop then the Michael is perfect. I've noticed that the Christopher is getting softer which I do like. I just have to stuff it when I put it away.

+itsjamille hey thanks for your quick reply, i actually do have a laptop but i most likely ill use another bag for it. do you use this bag everyday? do you think its a good everyday bag? i went to have a look at it and the material on the christopher seems to be softer than the michael. but the buttons are kind of hard to unbutton. the problem is I have quite alot of backpacks and im not sure if its worth spending so much money on another one

+Darius Hung no I do not use it everyday. My Montessori PM is what I use everyday. I purchased the Christopher mainly to use for trips. It can actually fit a lot of stuff. Yes the buttons are hard to unbutton. At one point I thought it would break but so far so good. You can never have too many backpacks. In my opinion this is a classic and a must have in a collection.

It's always good to receive one as a present :) Have you used it?

Have you had any wear? I have the same one in graphite and there are some cracks in the canvas, a lot of wear marks on the inner canvas, and fraying on the drawstring and on the back leather piece that attaches the strap to the top. That's all after a few months of use. I'm pretty disappointed.

I haven't had any cracks in the canvas. I did however have some fraying on the back leather price that attached that strap to the top. I was pretty upset since I only used it three times. I ended up bringing it back to the Louis Vuitton store and got it exchanged.

Sad :( Yeah this isn't a travel bag for me, it's an every day bag for a laptop, umbrella, cosmetic bag, chargers, etc. I have a feeling the Michael would have been the better choice for that purpose - I feel like the materials are sturdier. I feel that weight of my items in the bag plus it being synched in cause the cracks. They are along the top where it folds when you close it. I don't get why the pull string they use is so easily frayed too. When I brought it in they basically alluded to the fact that I shouldn't use it everyday. They're going to get back to me about the cracking but the fact that they ask "do you use it every day" in response to it having defects is crazy. It's a 3k bag. If it can't be used every day without falling apart then clearly it's not very good quality. Too bad it's gorgeous and I'm going to continue to buy their products haha :(

actually I ordered the Christopher PM Epi in Noir but when I went to see it in person, it was not that nice on me :( then I wanted the one in Blue Nuit but they don't have it at that time (end of May 2015) thus, I took the MIchael in Damier Infini in Onyx. when I first started using it early June, I discovered the laptop padding got bubbles/bumps (like it was not properly made, sigh) then I went to return it. Waited for the new stock but same problem :( My SA told me to take a look at the Christopher PM Epi in Blue Nuit. I will be checking it out tomorrow because I felt so restless :( Anyways, wish me luck yeah! :D Thanks for replying me and hearing me out!! lol cheers!! xoxo

itsjamille hi beautiful! ^_^ I went last Saturday and I do like the Christopher PM Epi in blue nuit but it was a display piece :( thus, there were some wrinkled part near the drawstring area on the epi leather :( with 3.6k usd of credit due to the return of the Michael Damier Infini, I had to do an exchange :( ended up with no backpack but a Cluny bb in Grenade and some wallets in empreinte leather :( Sigh, I really wish LV will make some backpacks like Christopher PM in Damier Infini or perhaps empreinte leather. This Christopher PM in Monogram macassar looks good on you but not on me :( Oh well. thanks for replying me and hearing me out again! lol!!! cheers!! xoxo

i just put it inside the felt dust bag and put it in a standing position. i noticed that it is losing shape and hope to avoid that. do you just fill the zip lock bag with air?

Also I forgot to mention that the only difference of mine is that it has the golden brass adjustable and the buttons which make it extra fancy when you look at it

Every time I want to get my phone out I have to put the backpack on a counter and its kinda hard to do it because I have to snap the closure.
