You're so right, and what an absolute CHASM of intelligence and maturity that exists between Louis and his interviewer.... I hate the foolishness that Louis got busted for, which I think he probably came to the same realization with his own life- that he was at a an absolutely ridiculous point in his life if he's having to restrain himself from doing.. things.. in front of adult, consenting women. He seems to have awakened that just because his life, and people around him, were enabling him to engage in those atypical behaviors, that participating in those behaviors wasn't making him better, or his work better, and certainly wasn't helping those who tolerated the behavior. Life isn't about being perfect, it's about learning and growing, and Louis is showing that he's capable of that. I think it's what makes his comedy and work so powerful. It's not the endless pointless navel gazing of some 'legendary' podcasters who are perpetually getting stronger, buffer, faster, more 'enlightened,'...

Even before LCK’s (attempted) cancellation, you could tell he knew what pain and despair was. It made his comedy profound. Many successful people, like Rogan, tend to pick up perspectives and ideologies that constantly congratulate themselves. Rogans comedy is pretty frivolous by comparison. I love that LCK still gets it. Rogan strikes me as a sensualist; whatever pleasures or levels of self-satisfaction he reaches, there is always some manlier, world-kicking way of getting more. He seems like an addict to me. But instead of taking drugs he goes to great lengths to force his body to create them.

Sometimes I feel like he thinks we all have the ability to hunt our own Elk, roll jujitsu, workout 4 times a week, buy a sauna and a cold plunge, get bloodwork done, etc. Like bro I’m happy you made it, but not everybody who isn’t ripped is just a lazy, depressed failure. Hunting is actually very affordable for someone making a below average income, a hunting rifle can be pricy but still very in reach, and most states in America allow certain animals to be hunted for a certain season. Hunting is not a rich thing, it’s literally primitive living. Working out for 30 minutes to an hour 3 times a week (minimum) is also very realistic and affordable for below average income people. Don’t buy a sauna or cold plunge, you can get the same benefits being outside on a hot day, and taking a cold shower. I understand y’all like to take everything literal from these guys, but there’s usually affordable or DIY ways to do most things. The rich can afford to buy and replace, but it’s more economical and fulfilling to fix, restore, or create.

Also anyone anywhere can work out, you don’t even need weights simply do body weight workouts and cardio, you’ll get shredded, hunting is common practice in most countries and cultures that have ever existed, your local wildlife may differ but I’m willing to guarantee every country in the world has had non-wealthy people hunt for sustenance at one point in time. If you live in a place where guns are illegal, hunting bowes are another suitable option. If hunting is illegal then I suggest you try and leave whatever fascist regime you’re currently living under, but until then you can purchase meat from a local butcher opposed to a grocery store, usually more exotic cuts and farm sourced meat instead of factory sourced.

It seems like THC mimics anandamide in the endocannabanoid system, which limits GABA activity which directly causes release/increase in dopamine. Again, my original comment was facetious anyway and doesn’t hinge at all on this distinction. But since what I’m finding doesn’t add up to what you’re saying, now I’m curious despite myself.

It was weard, it was like he would be kinda proving a point to the listeners something next to the actual topic 😅 I think he have noticed that audience isn't so keen of talking all the rich stuff by Joe talking with Segura etc. So he feels the need to say it is scientifical stuff and not rich people stuff. Totally kinda ignoring the point, Louie even says he agrees with the scientifical benefits, not having a problem with talking about it and whatever but is trying to contrast it with REAL world problems people have. Trying to bring out the weardness when you put next to some real plight of having to get water from a mile away everyday to saunas and whatever.. expensive clocks. To me the topic is just funny since there is in here to every 1/3 people a sauna (I was in sauna yesterday) and dipping in frozen lake/sea is like done since a kid. The word sauna is exported from finnish. So the topic being so bougee is just also funny to me.

How is louise well grounded? So many jokes he made are comlainjng about dumb mundane things that ultimately dont matter and dont give any fulfilment in life. What philosophical reflection did he give joe? That he is rich ? That because he is rich he can no one wants to hear about his mundane little problems and satisfactions cause he is rich they only want hear that shit when your poor?

  • @ImHeadshotSniper

@@lampad4549 he literally makes his living off of making jokes about just about anything he can possibly joke about, and he's MUCH more effective at it than a "comedian" like Joe Rogan is, and this is what makes Louise such a great one. obviously Louise is not responsible for teaching Joe Rogan to learn to reflect on how he is rich... Louise is very simply acting as a voice for poor people (which Louise doesn't forget being) when he says that poor people don't give a fuck about rich peoples mundane problems like retarded ice baths and shit, and how if they are going to complain, that it's best to complain in private, because complaining publicly about having more than most people could dream of is outright arrogant and tone-deaf. this reflection of Joes own arrogance and tone-deafness is what Louise is great at doing. i have never once in my life seen Louis CKs lifestyle and went "psh, arrogant asshole", but i have certainly done that with Joe and certain things he seems to think he has valid authority to dictate. Louise CK probably has some of the greatest humility of any comedian alive today, so he's great at teaching people self reflection in a way that is philosophical in nature. Louis CK's standup is confessionary and honest. i mean he literally joked about jacking off in front of people before it was found out that he truly did, lol. this confessionary and honest comedy is an expression of his honesty and humility about what he feels about the world.

Channels like this taps into a real need for many to talk shit about rich or famous people. It's bizarre that so many people need this validation in their lives. I respect the hustle of youtubers that just play clips of other media so that someone on break or sitting on the toilet can see someone famous be taken down a notch or two.

I have a begrudging sort of respect for Tom’s rant about people being mad when he talks about how rich he is…only because he actually has the balls to talk about it publicly in front of millions of listeners. Rich people talk like that in private ALL THE TIME…they’re just more careful about saying things like that publicly. Tom’s been listening to way too much hip-hop for way too long. You can get away with talking like that if you’re a black kid from the hood. You can’t if you grew up upper middle class like him.
