Louis Armstrong - What A Wonderful World
Музыка
What A Wonderful World performed by Louis Armstrong. (C) 1967 ABC
Lyrics:
I see trees of green
Red roses too
I see them bloom
For me and for you
And I think to myself
What a wonderful world
I see skies of blue
And clouds of white
The bright blessed day
The dark sacred night
And I think to myself
What a wonderful world
The colors of the rainbow
So pretty in the sky
Are also on the faces
Of people going by
I see friends shaking hands
Saying, "How do you do?"
They're really saying
"I love you"
I hear babies cry
I watch them grow
They'll learn much more
Than I'll ever know
And I think to myself
What a wonderful world
Yes, I think to myself
What a wonderful world
Oh yeah

Louis Armstrong is born in 1901, abandonned by his father and with her mother forced to sell her body for a living. He's been raised by his grand-mother who was born as a slave. Yet no one reminded us in a better way that we live in a wonderful world. Thinking about it helps to put things in perspective.

Only a good-hearted person like Lois Armstrong ❤️ Can sing like that! And even that he went through a sad and difficult life... He did’t lose him self... And that you could se in his loving smile ❤️ A few people in the world can be like Lois A.... Survivors that never lose their love inside them ❤️

Truly the most wonderful song we've ever been blessed with. It's impossoble to listen to without either becoming happy, sad, maybe a little of both. Memories flood the mind while you listen, and just for a moment... Despite all the terrible things in this world... You see the good in it, and in everyone and everything. I remind myself as often as I can ❤
I think this song is a timeless message to humanity, life is what you make it, regardless of poverty or whatever, infact poverty can have a positive it makes you appreciate what you have or gain when in a better place, what a wonderful world 😊
RIP Louis Armstrong (August 4, 1901 - July 6, 1971), aged 69 You will always be remembered as a legend.

This song is a masterpiece. And one of the best jazz songs 🌹

Please consider this, God created the world, He made people, Adam and Eve. They lived together In happiness and peace, There was no sin or death, but God instructed them not to eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, because they would surely die. When Eve was walking near the tree the serpent "The devil." Deceived her, and tricked her Into eating the fruit, yet she did not die so, Adam ate of It as well. Suddenly they felt morality, They knew they where naked so they hid from God. God knew what had happened, so he found the two of them hiding, He asked them why they where hiding, They answered "Because we are naked." God asked them who had told them that, they answered the serpent. Had tricked them Into eating the fruit. God already knew this. God Punished Adam and Eve accordingly, death was Introduced, as a regular part of life. Pain. And sin. But the LORD Promised to send us a savior, to save us from our sin. Over a few thousand years later, during the time of the Roman's, God sent Down his son Jesus to save us, Jesus was In the form of man, but was fully man, and fully God. Jesus started his ministries when he was thirty, when he set of, He invited 12 men to join him. They where called his disciples or the 12 disciples. Jesus traveled around, With disciples for three years. He preformed many miracles. He turned water to wine, He brought a dead man back to life. He Loved everyone He ministered to the poor sick, and the people who others would avoid. He Loved everyone. But the pharisees hated him, They considered his preaching Blasphemous They wanted Jesus dead, so they struck a deal with Judas, One of Jesus's Disciples. Judas told the pharisees Where Jesus was. They went there and arrested him. He went through a trial, He was mocked, beaten spit on. A crown of thorns placed on his head. He endured lashes, Lash (A whip with metal, and or bones to make It stick to the skin.) Finally he was sentenced to death, on a cross. Where he nailed to the cross, through the wrists, and feet. Right before he died he asked God to forgive those who had harmed him, that's how Loving he Is. Finally when he died he took our sin's with him, He saved Us from them. He was dead for three days, but rose again. And anyone who believes In him will live forever. I'm sorry It's late, I'm tired, this is an oversimplification, So please, If you don't listen to me at least try to with someone else, like the pastor at your local church
A masterpiece whose author is touched by God while singing it. Truly beautiful and deep 👏
I learned about Louis Armstrong in elementary school. I’ve never watched a video of him performing until tonight.
The way he smiles so happily as he sings makes the song feel even better and somehow even more beautiful than it already is. Every time he smiles, I can't help but smile too.

To denote the past as if it doesn't exist today is so limited. Louis Armstrong influenced 3 generations of jazz musicians and you're trying to tell us that he doesn't exist anymore? He's a multi-faceted artist that helped create what music is today. And you're telling me you can't find anyone who sings in a guttural but upbeat voice? Didn't mean to be rude. Try Tom Waits, Heart of Saturday Night and then give felice brothers-helen fry a shot. Peace and love
