Same. I love them. And they test your design skills because you always have limitations on space, and layout.

Me too. Loudest old school system I ever heard(6 JL W 6 15's in a blow through, 2 PPI 2350 1400 watt amps) was doing a 158 in 1999 on an Audio control SPL meter(they were much tougher than Termlab meters) It was pretty amazing. They replaced that system with W7 13. 5's when they came out and actually lost DB's. They had the perfect sauce to start with.

I love builds like this

I had 2 12’s that just shock my truck but it was limited because I didn’t have upgraded battery & alternator people put a bunch of equipment in but don’t understand that it’s only as good as the power it’s drawing so it’s super important if you want your system to perform.

I think I just saw that same guy rocking some 21” subs at Scrapin two weeks ago. If so huuge upgrade

Just sold my xmax monster yesterday. I was not to impressed with how the coil looked snd on top of it there was no glue from where the bottom of the spider connects to the triple joint and I’ve seen joint’s eventually start moving.

These type builds have to be right. I had a guy have a set up with 4 12's or 15's and he thought he was bassing loud. I played 2 12 inch type R's on a 1500.1 powerbass amp and made his sound like crap. His homeboy was like he needs to make his build better if 2 12's in a ported box made him sound bad.
