This is a signature sound of Borneo rainforest created by 6 O'clock Cicada, the largest cicada of Borneo and endemic to Borneo (Scientific Name: Megapomponia merula). 6 O'clock Cicada begins its rainforest orchestra around sunset time hence its nickname. This giant cicada can produce noise over 100 decibels, which is louder than motorcycle. Some people didn't believe me when I said it's the sound from insects.
