THE MOST COMPREHENSIVE PUBLIC LAND WHITETAIL MAP SCOUTING CONTENT EVER CREATED ON KZread.
This is the 3rd video in a 10 part series featuring Tyler Jones and K.C. Smith from The Element map scouting, putting eyes and feet on the deer country, then explaining their findings so that you can learn how to find, hunt, and arrow big bucks!
In this episode, Tyler and Oklahoma resident and friend, Wes Lowrey spend a half day scouting the flooded and chilly public lands at Oolagah WMA in Northeast Oklahoma. Their appears to be a bunch of deer in the area and with the liberal bag limits for non-resident hunters, this may be a killer place to go hunting!

Rusty Marlett I actually hunt at Oolagah, not the WMA, but the Corp land. I was hoping you would get to a place on the lake called Goose Island. It is archery only because of the dangers of ricochet on the water. The island is quite large, well over 300 acres. Motorized vehicles are prohibited. Next time you are in the area, give it a look. I would love to see you have to say about the layout.

For what it's worth Oklahoma has a lot of private land and I don't notice a ton of pressure on public land. I started hunting last weekend 4 the season and filming footage in that Oologah area I'll be posting .. in Oklahoma bring a boat or a kayak most all public land is around our Lakes and some of the best hunting's just a 10-15 minute trip on a kayak.
