Another great video! I really enjoy watching all of your Perch content, it’s quality infotainment - informative entertainment. Fishing can be hard enough sometimes but when you add the job of filming it as well it certainly adds another level of difficulty. Another well put together video with some cracking fish too, in temperatures that would put a lot of folks off especially when you just know the water is definitely going to be frozen in the majority of areas. As for the net dropping off and loose the fish !! Absolute 💯 % f-----g nightmare, did he get the net back? The CAR, !! Well, of course it's untidy, your a busy angler constantly on the go and besides you need all this to hand ✋ so why put it away 😉. Thourghly enjoyed this one. All the best mate Cheers Les.

Nick - loved the vlog. Painful for Sam - had something similar happen to me at St Margarets with a 7-8lb Bream taken on a dropshot worm. Landed the fish (which was definitely a PB!), pulled the landing net handle towards me and loosened my grip to catch it again closer to the net. At the same time I did this, the bream thrashed in the net, pulled the handle forward again just as I began to lift and 'crack' - the weight at the end shattered the landing net at the point where the thread is glued and the whole lot fell into the river - retrieved the landing net head but lost the bream - could have cried!!

Heard of quite a few things like this happening with landing nets. Not sure if it’s an issue with the products or maybe we’re expecting these things to go through too much punishment for too long? I think Sams was due to the extreme conditions but can’t be sure.

loved the "behind the scenes" stuff. I recently got into lure fishing in the middle of November, learnt a lot thanks to your videos. Actually managed to catch my first ever Chub on half a dark lord squirley today! I'm still chasing my first ever Perch xD
