If you think Becky G has anything to do with Reggaeton you are mistaken my friend. Reggaeton comes from Puerto Rico with artist like Vico C, Zion y Lennox, Yaga y Mackie. Becky G is great, but I would never state she is reggaeton.

Well he does sing pretty well in Spanish but his Accent is not the most pleasing one I’ve heard. I mean it a choice of preference and I might be a little biased but I love Colombian and Venezuelan Accents much better, and might be a little because I grew hearing people talk in Spanish with those accents the most. But overall he did great! But Becky G is the best! I also thought that this song was going to be completely in Spanish because Kane Brown looks like he might be Hispanic and Becky G is in a lot of Latin songs, and I was surprised when he started singing and he had a country accent.

Kane went to the same high school I did in Georgia for a short period of time. During those same years at that same high school, comencé estudiar el español, y desde aquel día he estado practicando y continuando con aprender cada día. Que claro que no soy perfecto, pero ahora estoy aquí escuchando a la música de alguien que yo conocía en el pasado, que en aquel tiempo, ni él ni yo podíamos hablar el español. It’s fucking crazy! I really believe Spanish is going to become a extremely popular language in the USA, and I feel sorry for the thousands of people around here (NW Georgia, excluding Dalton 😂) that are so hostile towards other languages or those that speak them. They are going to get left behind in the cultural dust. Not to mention it has unlocked the door to so much Latino culture for me to learn. It also made me realize that a large chunk of racism stems from two groups not being able to communicate, because if they could, they might realize they aren’t so different after all. Ps. El español es reconocido por su complicada ortografía y conjugación de verbos. Además de que existen tres formas para tratar a las personas: tú, vos (informal) y usted (formal). Muchas palabras tienen un significado diferente según el país en donde te encuentres. Algunas frutas y animales pueden tener varios nombres. Pero cuando dominas el idioma (al menos en su forma estándar o neutra) te das cuenta de que te permite expresarte de una manera más acertada y precisa sin las limitaciones del inglés. Te recomiendo escuchar mucha música, pero no reggaetón porque su lenguaje es básico, con errores de pronunciación y palabras con doble sentido que te confundirán. Saludos desde Medellín, Colombia.
