The beat is soothing and perhaps the voices used are, the lyrics aren’t. It’s a disgrace to the person they are telling this to. Imagine being with someone who tells you that they might be better off without you, because you cared enough to call them. This is some sadistic clown to tell people this while smiling. If he’s really “not himself when you’re gone”, than why the hell is he saying that he’d be better of on his own. There is a word for people who act like this: Player. I know people have gotten away from caring about others in USA, but this isn’t cool at all.
