Those kid's gasps so natural :)
Mini dv's were tough to copy to computer compared to SD cards. My best mini dv camcorders are Sony HDR HC7 and Sony DCR PC1000. The PC1000 don't have night shot mode though neither does the new Sony FDR AX43.
