I had to look up more info on this story and apparently this poor angel had been lost for two weeks and lost one-third of her weight before these two finally came across her. Owners had even tried searching with a drone for her with no luck after she and their other dog ran after a deer and didn’t come back (the other dog was found the next day). What a nightmare for both the dog and the owners... so happy it ended so well. ♥️🙏

@@denisemezynski8014 Yeah, but remember that we only saw a few seconds of the reunion with the owners, and at that point the dog was probably very weak after being freezing cold and starving. I’d assume it wouldn’t even have made it much longer if the lovely couple hadn’t saved her when they did... I’ve seen dogs get rescued and they’re so disoriented or sick that it takes them a moment to even recognize their owners. Let’s not judge from such a short clip ♥️

What beautifully kind, compassionate people, to have carried that poor dog for six miles over rough, snowy terrain in the freezing cold was truly lifesaving for her, as she wasn't going to survive much longer in that barren place! That was one hell of a feat, carrying a very heavy dog all that way in those conditions. Frankie is a phenomenal man, and they were a brilliant pair, and I can only imagine how the poor dog's parents felt to see her again and to learn of her rescue. The RSPCA (Royal Society For the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) should award these two wonderful people for their major rescue of the adorable stricken dog. Its worth repeating that Frankie carried the dog for six miles in that hostile terrain, in winter! What a man!

@@mjustjeanette7026 you do not know how fast a dog can travel. I had a mix dog size of a cocker spaniel, who was an escape artist just because she could. In less than a hour she had traveled over 8 miles from east end of Miami, to a busy supermarket in a city called Hialeah. A kind person got her outside of the supermarket. Imagine my surprise when they called my phone on her collar to tell me she was with them. That is the most scariest part: just how fast dogs can travel in just a very short time. A lost dog can be miles away. For my dog, thank God she somehow ran across busy streets, for there are super many she had to cross, and did not get hurt in any way. My house then was in a neighborhood where no one could have taken her out: we found the hole she had dug. We later cemented the entire bottom of our fencing which stopped her from getting out, for it was truly a miracle she traveled so far without injury and, and an honest stranger got her, took her home after calling us so I was able to go drive and pick her up. A golden retriever is a large dog that can certainly travel 6 miles easy in short time. My surprise is that she was ONLY 6 miles away, probably due to the cold, lack of food, and disorienting foliage and loneliness, that the hikers came across her was a Godsend.

It was adorable. I think she also had a red vest under the black jacket. That means that the young woman was missing two layers of warmth or that she and Frankie were each missing one layer. Such commitment to sticking it out and rescuing this helpless dog from a desperate situation. Good for them.

From the scenes of carrying the dog on back (though the dog was walking fine at the bottom) complete with dramatic music to the question of how they even knew where to go find the dog, something seems off. Some of these stories have to be taken with a grain of salt for sure.
