I'm gonna pin this because it's an important fact that I forgot to mention in the video. No matter what build of Slayer you decide to play, whether Predator or Executioner, drink a Stimulant before any pull of any boss, unless you want to spend the time to build the meter on the opener (both are relatively fast to build from 0 identity, but it's still annoying).

I'm greatful that saint released this video to provide me wth all the information I need for slayer's relase. I am fully prepared now after learning that 18 is indeed a bigger number than 16.

as the mass increase vs cd argument if with cd you are at 140% atk speed and if with Mass increase you are at 135% atk speed then mass increase is 18-3.7% or 14.3% more damage CD on the other hand is mitigated slightly by atk power buffs so it's not pure 16% either i think a lot more people are going to be accepting of the lower dps higher numbers with Mass Increase than the trixion min max potential

depending on when korea gets it, we can assume that we would get it about 4-6 months or so after them. So if they get it some time this summer or fall, we probably wont see it until December or early next year

around the 1:50 minute mark you mention the glow being the same - i might be wrong, but don't they fan out differently towards the hilt of the sword on zeals esther +8 weapon? (zerker vs slayer)

Esther weapons have different glow that normal weapons

noticed entropy is more popular. was really hoping she'd be more similar to zerker where they dont have to chase the butt.

Didn't you have Keen Blunt Weapon before instead of Ambush Master? Did you change because learning to play with entropy is better in the long run or because Hallucination underperformed?

I changed because I swapped from 7m to 6m and switched my skill loadout and tripods to fast tripods, which made playing Entropy very easy afterwards.

Nah, it adds up cumulatively, and then the game cuts you off last when determining that.

The primary purpose of overcapping on Swiftness is for the Cooldown Reduction.

This sounds amazing, but I'm kind of masochist and play exclusively spec dps (except gunslinger). Will have to see once I see the other engraving in the action. Almost thinking about switching main from igniter sorc as well so there's a lot to think about during these following weeks.

mass increase is also SUPER cheap. like grudge mass increase 100 quality stuff is almost nothing.

Since she has fast attack speed , can I use focus runes on her skills to help with mana issues ?

You can get away with one but I recommend just using Galewind and Quick Recharge for highest damage and lowest cooldowns.

No point in really taking it since the alternative options for her are 18% damage selections or better and her Crit Damage is already increased by Entropy. You could use it if you really want to but there's no tangible gain, only potential loss.

Currently, she is overtuned and even a Hallucination set will be stronger than other classes, but many people expect her to get nerfed so this may not always be the case.

may i ask why cant you run 1200 swift like depressed demonic to prevent mana issues and put rest into crit you still would have 40% as with support buff with mass but since you using entropy and have 40% crit dmg from class engraving isnt it better to have higher crit rate?

As swift class, you want 1600 swift minimum, it’s mainly for all the cooldown reduction you can get because as swift class, your damage come from spamming as much as you could to stack up your damage

This is how swift class competes with spec class. Spec class don’t spam but they do big hits every cast so in order for swift class to compete, they need to spam their skill harder, the more skill cast count the more dmg a swift class does

All about uptime for swift class. You don’t want to be slow, not just in terms of atk speed and movement speed but also about the rate of your skill cast

To add to what Chicken Flower wrote, adding more crit or spec isn't very beneficial for Predator compared to getting more CDR. You also don't want minimum swiftness due to using Mass Increase.

I love spammy aggressive classes in MMOs. I played veng main on wow for years and Lost ark I play reaper .reflux .sh db .and glavier so this class fits right in my wheelhouse perfectly. Just bummed on timing cuz I just built the db this week so not gonna have the mats to blast my slayer too hard right away :/
