Lost and Found - complete Sweet Regency Romance Audiobook
Ойын-сауық
Her fiancé is missing, her fortune non-existent and the Marquess is unable to declare his love. The outlook for Governess Alice Merryam seems grim.
Governess Alice Merryam’s fiancé is lost at Waterloo, but even three years later his mother won’t admit that he’s gone, so Alice can’t move on. Her life is in limbo-but does that matter when she’s unmarriageable without a dowry?
Her employer, William, Marquess Fenton, has an unfortunate tendre for her. He doesn’t think she’d be interested in a stodgy bore like him; but if he can set her free to be happy with someone else, he will.
William travels to Belgium to find irrefutable proof of her fiancé’s death-but what he finds will set all their lives in disarray.

Thank you for such wholesome stories void of the vulgar language and smut. Such a blessing 😊 I was losing hope for a moment of finding proper reads. 🙏

Was looking for a sweet romantic story that didn't have one misunderstanding after another between the couple. Was a nice story.

Hello, Catherine! I love your voice. Colette here from Yucatán. I am glad we connected.
I’ve not finished the story but when the “French soldier” who impregnated a girl in the village but has yet to marry her was mentioned, William should have thought to look into that… Bertrand could very well be pretending to be French which would be a perfect cover. Again, haven’t finished the book, I’m just tossing out a theory that would satisfy. It may be correct or it may not but to me, it was worth mentioning/remembering…

I thought that was a great bit of foreshadowing by the author! Glad you picked up on it!
Thank you for replying. I did go back and see it is Sweet instead of Clean. The offensive language was still unexpected and unnecessary. I believe the story could stand on its own without the language.😊

Do the authors not see our comments? I do still have the right to make a statement concerning foul language. I don’t know why you feel I was attacking Catherine Bilson?
Catherine Bilson is the BEST.

Unfortunately, there is foul language. It isn’t necessary. The story is interesting without it. I thought this was a “clean” regency audiobook.

I'm not sure where you gained that impression. The book is labelled 'sweet' indicating that there is no explicit sexual content.
